Annabeth's POV

"Okay, let me get this straight," I say slowly, "When I went missing, Percy didn't know what to do. Sally and Paul made him go to school the second day I was missing, and he heard that Jason, who we both met in kindergarten, was like a computer genius. And you guys had made plans to get together and become friends or something before Rob kidnapped me. So, when I went missing, Percy sought out the help of Jason to help you find me. The first thing you tried to do was track my phone, but that didn't work because something was blocking the signal. Then you tried tracking Rob's phone, which led you to the warehouse. But you knew he was somehow still showing up to work without getting arrested, so you came when you knew he would be at work."

This was all too much to take in. I couldn't believe that they finally have Rob in custody. Or the fact I was allowed to stay with Percy until I was finally 18 without them having to sign any custody papers that made me legally Sally and Paul's daughter, and Percy's sister. I was just a guest living with them who happened to be under 18.

Currently, Jason, Percy, and I was sitting in my hospital room of 5 days talking about what happened and how they found me. When they found me, I had lost a lot of blood. Percy said the doctors had been afraid that I'd lost too much blood to live, but he didn't believe them, and he was right. I was alive and recovering and would live. None of my injuries are, surprisingly, life threatening. All my injuries looked worse than they really were.

Jason told me about when they finally got me out of all the ducktape that was wrapped around my hands and ankles, I stood up and Percy had hugged me. We shared a few words before I collapsed. Jason said Percy was freaking out so bad it wasn't even funny.

Now I'm trying to comprehend everything that has happened.

Percy and Jason nod their heads at what I said. I nod my head back.

Just then, my doctor came him. Dr. Phillips is probably in his mid 40's with graying hair that looked like it was a dark black at one point and brown eyes, and he has laugh lines around his eyes.

"How are you today, Annabeth?" He asks me while looking at the clipboard at the end of my hospital bed.

"Peachy!" I exclaim sarcastically. He gives me an eyeroll.

"Let's try this again," He says with a sigh, "How are you feeling today, Annabeth?"

"My head hurts, and so does every other inch of my body." I tell him.

"Your bruises will heal eventually," He tells me.

I roll my eyes. "Of course I know that. I've been dealing with bruises since I was 8, remember?"

Dr. Phillips knows all about my past with Rob, obviously, as do Jason and Percy.

"That wasn't funny." Dr. Phillips says.

"I wasn't trying to be" I say.

"The pain medication sure makes you a sarcastic smart-alec, huh?" Percy asks with a small smile gracing his face.

Dr. Phillips takes out a flashlight to check my vitals. "Look up." He instructed me and I obliged. "Look down." "Look to my right." "Look to my left." He kept giving me instructions for where to look.

"Okay, your vitals look alright," He tells me as he puts the flashlight away and takes out his stethoscope.

Dr. Phillips then checks my hearts and my pulse.

"You look to be alright besides your bruises, you might be able to go home tomorrow. We just want to make sure the blood transfusion we gave you worked." He tells me. Then Dr. Phillips says bye and exits the room.

Oh, right. The blood transfusion I got when I first got here. I didn't wake up until my third day here. I was rushed into surgery almost immediately after I got here. I was in a coma for 3 days and now it's just a waiting game to see how surgery went. They think it worked, but just to make sure they want me here for another day, to make sure nothing went wrong.

After Dr. Phillips is out the door, Percy jumps up from his seat to come over and give me a little hug, careful to not hurt me.

"YOU GET TO COME HOME TOMORROW!" Percy screams. I swear he acts like an overexcited child getting cotton-candy at the fair.

I have to laugh at his enthusiasm, though.

"Yes, I heard the doctor too," I say laughing.

Suddenly, Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne starts echoing throughout the room.

Jason jumps up from his seat, rips his phone from his pocket, and then runs out the door answering the call.

Jason comes back 30 seconds later. Percy and I haven't moved from the positions we were in when Jason left. I think we were both in shock by the song that was playing. Well, I was anyway. All Percy did was raise his eyebrow at Jason.

"Um.." Jason starts, rubbing the back of his neck, "Do you mind if my girlfriend comes to see you? She said you two used to be friends."

I frowned. I haven't had any friends since Hazel and Piper left New York in elementary.

"What's her name?" I ask hesitantly.

"Piper Mclean."

Hey all!! Sorry this is later than I usually update. I wasn't even sure if I was gonna update this week because I've been sick. But I'm feeling better.

I almost have 5K reads!!! THANKS FOR THAT!!!

How did you guys like this chapter? Was it confusing? I felt like it was. How about Jercy becoming friends again after all these years? Piper coming back? Her being with Jason? Do you have any guesses as to why Piper and Hazel left New York?

Tell me what you guys think! Thanks for reading XD
