Annabeth's POV
"Tell me the story about Rachel," I demand of Percy when we get back to his house. We left the others when they decided to go get something to eat. I figured this would be the perfect time to ask him about it.
Neither one of us has mentioned the kiss, though.
"Um.." Percy shifted uncomfortably, "What did you want to know about it?"
"Everything," I state, but clarify more when he doesn't answer me, "Like, why did you date her? How did you feel about her? How did you two agree on dating? Did you ask her because you really liked her? How did you find out about her cheating? Tell me everything about what happened during the time you decided to ask her out up until you two broke up."
Then, as an afterthought, I add "Please?"
Percy sighs, giving in.
"I had this crush on this one girl for the longest time, but she never noticed me-" Percy started.
"What does that have to do with Rachel?" I ask, "Please don't tell me you didn't have a serious crush on Rachel."
Percy scrunched up his nose in distaste (which was extremely adorable, but that's off the topic on hand). "Never! I never liked her, ever! If you would let me continue without any interruptions, I would get to that part of the story."
"Good," I say, when I see the confusion on his face I continue, "Please continue."
He nods his head before continuing. "Anyway, I had this crush on this girl, but she never took any notice to me. So I did whatever I could do that could get my mind off of her. Around this time, Rachel and Octavian had had their first fight and Rachel wanted to make him jealous. I was so desperate to get my mind of off the girl that I liked, that I agreed to it. It went well for a bit, me and Rachel would be all 'coupley' in front of people at school, more so in front of Octavian. Octavian had actually got down on his knees and begged Rachel to take him back, after awhile of this, Rachel said she would give him an answer the next day, claiming that she had to "ponder if her heart would be able to deal with anymore pain from him. That night, she told me actually liked me. And me, being the guy who is in love with someone else, reminded her that feelings weren't suppose to get involved with our relationship. I let her down as easily as possible, though, but she didn't take it well. She smacked me across the face and through whatever she could get her hands in at me. That's how I got this scar."
Percy paused long enough to show me a white scar running across his shoulder and down to his bicep. Very big and muscly bicep, I might add.
"She through a vase my mom had set in my room at me. It needed five stitches. And, let me tell you, it hurt like heck. Anyway, she got back with Octavian the next day. And they all lived happily ever after." Percy concluded with a bitter laugh.
"Um..." I started, trying to collect my words, "1) It's 'Rachel and I' not 'Me and Rachel-"
Percy rolled his eyes at that.
"-and 2) I thought you said the reason you broke up with her is because she cheated on you?" I question his earlier words.
"Yeah, about that part..." Percy scratched the back of his neck awkwardly, almost as if he was embarrassed about something.
"You can tell me anything," I tell him gently, trying to relax him a bit because he has become extremely tense.

Sorry (not sorry) about that cliffhanger. I didn't have much time to write the chapter, that's why it's so short. But I made the cliffhanger just because, I probably could've written why he was acting so strange all of a sudden, but I didn't want to. Hehehe ;)
What did you guys think of Percy's story? Do you think he was telling the complete truth or do you think he's hiding some detail? Who do you think Percy's mystery girl is? I think everyone will guess that right.
Thanks everyone for reading, and could you guys check out my new story that I adopted, Percy Jackson the Betrayed and Forgotten for me? It would mean so much to me and the original author.
Don't forget to vote and comment :D
Thanks everyone <3
