Chapter is dedicated to courtney7227 because I don't think I would have gotten this chapter written in time if it wasn't for her constantly harping me, and something special happens in this chapter that I wasn't going to originally write. So please, thank her for this chapter.
Percy's POV
I chuckle at the girls' reaction to where we brought them.
In front of us, there's blue see through ice. That's right, for our date, we're at this ice rink called The Ice Palace. The reason why it says 'palace' is because of the palace/castle thing behind it. It looks like one of those palace things you would see in India.
Out of the corner of my eye, I see Jason smirk you at Piper.
"I don't know how to ice skate." Annabeth told me sheepishly.
"That's okay," I tell her, "I can teach you."
"You know how to ice skate?" She asks me shocked.
I nod my head. "Yeah, I do."
When I was around 7 or 8, my mom signed me up for some ice skating classes to keep me away from the house for the majority of the time during that time.
I take Annabeth's hand in mine and guide her to the counter where they give you ice skates to rent for a few hours.
"What size?" The girl behind the counter asks boredly. She had pure black hair that was choppy and shoulder length. Her eyes were a startling electric blue, that I sweat I've seen before. My eyes glance down at her name tag and see that it reads Thalia. That name sounds awfully familiar to me, but I can't put my finger on it.
Annabeth and I told her our sizes. She gave the skates to us, told us the price of it, we pay and turn to leave.
"Where have you been?" A voice demands. For a moment, I thought it was directed it us. But then I realize it was Jason's voice.
I turn around to look back at the counter, Annabeth does the same.
We see Jason looking pretty mad and that Thalia girl had a panicked expression on her face. Then it finally hit me.
Thalia was Jason's sister.
Thalia ran away roughly 5 months ago, Jason told me about it when Rob kidnapped Annabeth and I thought I was going crazy. He never mentioned why she ran away, though.
I felt Annabeth tug on my jacket. "Let's just go down to the ice ring and give them their privacy."
"Okay." I agree.
As we walk towards the ice rink, I see that Leo, Frank, and Hazel had done the same. All three were already out having fun on the ice.
I put on my skates and stood up. I look over at Annabeth and see her having much trouble lacing up her skates.
I chuckle. "Need any help." I ask her.
"I just don't get it," She told me, sounding very frusterated, "How am I suppose to tie them up?"
Instead of answering her, I just bend down and tie them for her. It took me less than 30 seconds to tie both of them.
When I stand back up I see Annabeth playfully glaring.
"I knew what I was doing," She defends herself, "I just had to make sure that you knew what you were doing."
"Okay, Annabeth," I appease her with a chuckle, "Does that mean you know exactly how to ice skate but told me you don't know how just so you can see if I actually know how?"
"That's exactly what my plan was." She replies hotly.
"Then by all means," I gesture to the rink, "Show me what you can do."
A panicked expression made its way onto Annabeth's face. She took small steps until she made it to the ice rink. When she got to the door to enter, Annabeth grabbed the side and made her way onto the ice.
One step.
That's how far Annabeth got before she fell on her butt.
I bit my lip to keep from laughing and I rushed over to help her get up.
"Yeah yeah, laugh all you want," She told me dryly. This time, her glare wasn't so playful. It was more like "I'm going to put you 6 feet under if you laugh at me one more time." That shut me up quickly.
"Here," I held my hand out for her, "By the time we go you'll be a pro."
She rolled her eyes. "Sure," She said, "Good one." But she took my hand nevertheless.
As I held her hands, I started gliding backwards, slowly. After a few minutes, Annabeth finally got her balance. I went to let go of her hands but Annabeth's grip on mine tightened. I look up at her face but all she does is offer me a small, cheeky grin. I gave her a small smile in return.
We stayed just like that for awhile, gliding around while holding hands.
Our peaceful stare ended when Annabeth tripped over a small crack in the ice. She went flying over, and landed on me. The momentum knocked me over onto my back with Annabeth on top of me.
Our faces were centimeters. This was finally our time.
I looked at her lips, and then back at her eyes with a question in mine.
I see her look at my lips, too, and then she nods at me.
I don't hesitate this time.
I pick my head up a bit and she brings her head down.
Our lips meet in the middle.
We start moving our lips together in sync.
But, as everytime we try to kiss, someone always interupts us.
"Get a room, you two!" Leo yells at us.
At least we actually kissed that time.
Annabeth jumps off me real quick, and I got up right after her. Annabeth was blushing harder than she has ever before, and that was a lot.
"Percy's gettin' some action," Jason announced with a smirk.
I rolled my eyes at him, a light blush coating my own cheeks.
"That's what you get for kissing in public," Frank told us with a smirk of his own.
Before any of us could say any thing more, the detectives that are working on Annabeth's cases show up in front of us.
"Sorry for interuppting your, uh, date," The guy detective says with a smirk, obviously seeing our kiss. I think his name was Avery or Amaro or something like that.
"But we need to talk to Annabeth," He continues.

Dun dun duun!! You are very welcome.
How was their date? Did I disappoint any of you? Sorry if I did, I'm not very good at writing date scenes, group ones anyway. They will have their own date soon enough ;) The kiss is what I was talking about in my dedication when I said that something special happens.
I will have a new chapter up on Sunday, I have no clue what time but I will publish it. Or maybe even Saturday night. Who knows?
Photo in slide is of The Ice Palace.
Thank you for reading <3
