C H A N E L
Once I got in my house I leaned my body against the front door and started to cry. I had absolutely no idea why I kissed Justin or why I liked it so much. I liked Justin but I couldn't and shouldn't have done that to Za. I was so confused.
"Chanel?" My dad asked concerned.
I wiped my tears as quick as I could and smiled. "Hey dad, I didn't know you were home. I thought you were in Atlanta on a business trip."
"I was," He said, coming towards me. "But my assistant at the firm was sick. But most importantly, why are you crying baby girl?"
"I'm just really confused right now." I said as tears threatened to spill out of my eyes.
"Is it about Za and Justin?" My dad asked.
I looked at him puzzled. "How do you know about Justin?"
"I'm a parent," Dad said confidently. "I know all."
I gave him a 'really' face.
"And you talk really loud when you're on the phone with Amanda."
I mentally slapped myself.
"What should I do?" I asked him.
"Just go with your heart," He said, going back to the living room where he came from. "That will lead you to your answer."
"But how will I-- never mind."
I ran up the steps and jumped on my bed. And on que my phone rang.
"Ugh!" I groaned. "I can never get a break!"
I pulled out my phone from my back pocket and looked at the I.D. It was Amanda.
"Girl in distress speaking." I said in a tired tone.
"What's wrong mami?" Amanda asked.
I told her everything that happened at the ice skating rink.
"Wow..." Amanda said.
"I know..." I said back.
"I know what will cheer you up."
"What?"
"There's a huge house party at Ryan's house party tomorrow!"
"And?" I asked.
"We should totally go." She said in a duh tone.
"I guess I could g--"
"It's settled," Amanda interrupted. "See you tomorrow chica."
"Okay."
"Te quiero niña." She said.
"Love you too." I giggled.
After we hung up I laid on my back and watched the ceiling fan. I really hoped Justin and Za weren't going to be at the party, but it was Ryan's party so I knew for sure that where ever he is they are too. I sighed and closed my eyes.
I really didn't know what to do.
