Christmas with the family

It was the first Christmas that the Blacks, Potters, Weasley's, and Lupins were completely together. The family enjoyed the merry festivities, talking and enjoying the jolly air. It was late that night when the joyous family set around the Christmas tree reading The Night Before Christmas and drinking hot chocolate. The finished the story with "Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight" Sirius read. Delighted to see the children falling asleep. He snapped the book shut taking a small delight as the kids sat up in surprise from the sudden
noise.

The adults laughed and the kids glared playfully at Sirius making him laugh harder. Suddenly, Sirius heard a sound like bells. He looked at his beautiful wife with her long, now purple, hair curling delicately around her face. Her bright, electric blue eyes stood out against dark brown skin. Sirius smiled as he noticed something new about her, she had a small but defined bump against her stomach. And, judging by the fact that she hadn't hidden it, she hadn't noticed it, making Sirius smile to himself. The kids were all sent to bed and the adults went to their rooms in the gigantic Potter-Black-Lupin Manor.

-The Next Morning-

The adults were awoken to the sound of children noisily down stairs. The adults all got up but they found, to their immense delight, the women found the men in the kitchen cooking, the sight was rare and unexpected. Each of their husbands was wearing a "Kiss the Cook" apron which each of the delighted girls took their husbands up on. Rosealine whispered in Sirius's ear,"I need to talk to you later" Sirius nodded knowing what she was already going to say.

After they were finished eating, they headed over to the Weasley's for another Christmas. Finally it was time for the couples to exchange gifts. James gave Lily a new set of earrings that looked like snitches and even fluttered wings when you pressed the button on the back, Sirius gave Rose a new necklace that had a set of paw prints on it, and Remus gave Delilah a new diamond ring. All in all the girls were happy. All of the guys were told they would get their presents later and then agreed to wait. But they would soon realize this was a present like no other.

-time skip-

The girls were all set up. The family had just had a wonderful meal and we're waiting for the men to get their presents. The girls handed the boys each a box no bigger than a shoebox. They opened it to find something wonderful and amazing. An ultrasound showing a baby. Then in sync, the girls said "We're pregnant."
