Chapter Two
------Ylva
I woke up from and amazing sleep. After yesterday, I am really happy. It felt like everything that had once been bolted up had suddenly sprung free from my wolf finally making her official appearance. I stretched before rolling out my warm bed. Rushing into the bathroom, I undressed, turned the shower on and stepped in allowing the cool water to relax my muscles. The water trickled down on me like raindrops.
That was a good thing about this house, it was big enough for every room to have an ensuite. My shower was perfect for me because I loved being outside in the rain. Aden and I had a bet going that if he ate a whole double chocolate sponge cake, without throwing up, he'd get the shower. But he failed and I got the cool shower! The whole top of the shower area ran like rain would.
I washed the shampoo into my hair, massaging my head in the process.
'So, this mate thing...what actually happens?' I ask my wolf, closing my eyes. I still didn't feel any different about this. Even though werewolves are brought up learning about your pack position and the mating process, no one knew better than your own wolf. Sometimes it can be different for everyone.
'Well, usually, we have to look into their eyes. The world seems to stop. You suddenly feel attracted to them, you can't live without them. You don't feel empty anymore.' Misty sighed. I knew that her being a werewolf, without your mate, there was no point in life. You were nothing without the one the Moon Goddess chose you to be with.
I quickly scrubbed off and got out, wrapping a towel around me. I hate it when it gets too hot and you can hardly breathe. I stumble in my room, the heat immediately leaving. Shivering slightly at the cool air, I went to my drawers to fetch some clothes.
I got dressed into some sports leggings and vest top before running downstairs. I'm not a girly girl. Dresses and skirts are a no-go, but scorts are okay, I guess. I slipped on some Nike's before moving to the kitchen.
Everyone was still in bed, I decided to make them breakfast. They've always been there for me, it's the least I can do! I plugged in my iPod and switched on the music before starting to cook. Let's see, Faith likes pancakes. Nathaniel likes French toast. Sunbrooke likes a healthy breakfast so fruit and yogurt. Aden likes chocolate chip pancakes with whipped cream, Toast Me's and a bowl of Sunbrooke's infamous homemade yogurt! I laughed and shook my head. Aden's a fat pig and he knows it!
I pour the pancake mixes into a sauce pan and leave it on low heat, adding chocolate chips to one. I cut up some apples, pears and put them in a bowl with grapes and strawberries. I scrunch up my nose at the pear before chucking them in the bowl.
I'm a sort of picky eater I guess. I don't eat meat except chicken, sausages and bacon. I don't like mushrooms, nuts, sprouts or too much onion. I hate oranges, pears and bananas. I don't know, I guess I just don't like them or just not a big fan of them.
A shot in the dark... a past... lost in space.
Where do I start, the past and the chase. You hunted me down... like a wolf, a predator.
I felt like a deer, in love lights...You love me... and I froze in time.
Hungry, for that flesh of mine..But I can't compete..with the she-wolf that has brought me to my knees..
What do you see in those yellow eyes?
Cause I'm falling to pieces..I'm falling to pieces,
I'm falling to pieces,
I'm falling to pieces,
I'm falling to pieces...Falling to pieces...
