Ryker

I sat at my new desk, tapping my foot angrily. I needed Ylva back. She's been gone for over two days and her scent has completely vanished from the house. None of my warriors, nor my best tracker, could locate my mate. Raiden had been over edge and pissing me off - if anyone pushed him to far, he would snap, mostly likely kill them.

I whimpered involuntarily for the tenth time today. Soaring pain flew from my legs, gradually moving upwards to my stomach. Growling angrily, I tried to ignore the pain resonating from my mate.

I know Ylva's been kidnapped. Everyday I can feel her pain and emotions. She's opened the link, probably not on purpose but I can't even reach her. Ylva's either too far away or she is in too much pain that she can't connect to me.

"Ryker!" My mother flew into the room suddenly. My parents came around yesterday after hearing about the disappearance of Ylva and my dad has been getting visions. I had cried over the phone to them, something I never do. Or haven't done since...

I clutched my stomach and groaned. "I-I'm okay." I choked, gripping to my mother's arm.

"No! You're not! We have to get you to a doctor!" My mum panicked.

"Mum, I'm fine!" I protested.

"No, Ryker Alexander Dawson!" She only used my full name when I was in trouble or if she was certain she would do something - that I had no choice in. She gripped my wrist, pulling me out of my office, and down to the pack hospice.

"Dr Kai, Ryker has been experiencing pains because of-"

"Luna Ylva." Kai finished before sighing lightly, "I cannot do anything for it."

Dr Kai came over to me and placed a hand forcefully on my stomach. I growled in pain and fear, shoving harshly him away. His eyes went wide and he looked at me worriedly.

"Kai?"

"L-Luna, she's...been beaten." Kai stuttered, slowly backed away. My fist connected to the wall as I snarled in anger.

'How dare he hurt my mate! I'm gonna fucking murder him! And his bitch!' Raiden snarled, my eyes blackening.

"REECE!" I shouted, storming back up to my office, leaving my mother and Dr Kai alone.

"Yes, Alpha!" Reece called, running through the door.

"Prepare our best warriors, trackers, scouts and bring the Gamma." I ordered.

"Yes, Ryker. Might I ask why?"

"We are getting Ylva."

Ylva

I tugged against the chains, screaming out as the hot silver blade retraced it's steps across my thigh. I let the tears slip, biting on my lower lip, trying to hold back the cries as I prepared for the third round.

After Blake knocked me out, he dragged me to an old, rundown building. It had two secret basements, and guess what - I was on the lowest! He's never yet told me why I was here, only that he would use me to get what he wanted. And from all that I know, I can only guess it was to bring Ryker down.

It's been two days. Blake has been none stop. He and two other guys, Cameron and Drake, come into this cell, using silver whatever's to inflict wounds onto my skin. They are not wolves. Wolves are extremely sensitive to silver.
