Chapter Twenty
------Ylva
I woke up wrapped in arms. The pillow I was laying was comfy and warm and covered in Ryker's scent. I was back at the pack house, in his room, dressed in one of Ryker's t-shirts. I smiled as I remembered last night, allowing the feeling of sparks travel through me.
I did the right thing... didn't I? The arm tightened around my waist and pulled me in closer to a bare chest. I immediately blushed and awkwardly turned around in his arms, coming face to face with my mate. I reached out my hand and rested is against his pectorals, feeling the muscles he had. Misty and Lucine were in bliss, just looking at his body. I admit, it did look good.
'Finally, you see things our way.' Misty snickered.
Ryker stirred and one of his eyes peaked open. He smirked at me when he saw me looking at his chest, "It's nice to wake up to my mate checking me out." he leaned down and kissed my forehead as I blushed.
I rose my chin up to catch his lips. He groaned and pulled me to lay over him. Ryker sucked on my bottom lip, his hands slipped under the shirt, running over my bare back, "Thank you for letting me claim you, my wolf would've made you otherwise." Ryker smiled.
"Yeah, Misty and Lucine would have taken control and made me let you before I could say anything." I rested my head against his arm.
"Lucine?" Ryker repeated, confused. I froze and rethought about what I said. Shit! What did I say?
'Just tell him, he wants to know.' Misty said.
'Yeah but he may be really angry. I don't know... I-'
'He won't be angry. I've asked Raiden, he doesn't care. He wouldn't have marked you otherwise.' Misty told me.
I took a deep breath, swallowing my fear, "Lucine is my vampire side"
Ryker raised an eyebrow, "You have a vampire voice too?"
"Yeah, she's like Misty." I looked away from his eyes and added, "A pain in the ass."
'Hey!'
Ryker lifted up up my chin. My body was shivering in slight fear, "Why are you so afraid to tell me?"
I looked worriedly into his green orbs. I sighed again, letting out a shaky breath, "Because I was a afraid that you would reject me." I answered honestly, "It's not every day you see a half werewolf, half vampire hybrid."
"I would never reject you. You are unique." he whispered, kissing my head. "When did you find out about her?"
"Remember when my eyes went brown that morning?"
"Oh." he pulled me up for a long deep kiss again.
'Lemme meet him!' Lucine squealed.
I mentally laughed at her, "Lucine wants to speak to you" I whispered against his lips.
"Let her."
I nodded and closed my eyes, giving the control to Lucine. My eyes flashed brown, my incisors sharpened and my skin became slightly paler. I opened my orbs and stared at Ryker, his own eyes filled with curiosity.
"Hey, Rykey." Lucine smirked, winking.
Our mate growled lowly, "Don't call me Rykey."
Lucine placed her hands on his face and smiled at him, "Okay, I won't... Rykey."
