Coughs erupted from me as I tried to catch my breath. I looked up and saw my dad being pinned to the wall. His lip was bleeding. That's when I noticed that the person pinning him to the wall was Harry. Harry slammed him into the wall again, "Don't you EVER touch her again!"

Every muscle in his body was tensed. His face was full of rage and his eyes full of hate and disgust. My dad laughed, shaking his head "you think you're some big hero? Some amazing guy who's just trying to help? Are you forgetting what you did? Did you forget--"

Harry threw him to the ground and yelled "Shut up! Shut up!"

Harry knelt down and slammed his fist into my dad's face again and again.

My brain couldn't wrap around what was happening. I slowly got to my feet and started shakily backing up the stairs.

Harry looked up at me and then down at my dad. My dad was lying unconscious on the ground, blood running from his nose.

My legs didn't work as Harry held my gaze. He made his way over to me and ran his hand over my neck where my dad had been choking me. His touch cause me to jump as the pain startled me. He whispered, more to himself, "It's already bruising." He locked eyes with me, "Are you okay?"

I nodded slightly and glanced over at my dad. He started groaning in pain and rolled onto his side. Harry glanced towards him and his hand balled into a fist. His entire body tensed again.

I took his hand and started wiping my dad's blood off it. "You need to get back to your concert."

"It can wait. I need to make sure you're okay."

I used part of my sleeve to wipe the tiny amount of blood off his lip. "I'm fine. Thousands of girls are waiting for you, go. He's done worse damage than this before, I can handle it."

"I'm not just talking about him." He paused, "I shouldn't have let Louis say what he did. I knew he was going to end up saying something like that. I should've stopped him from saying stuff the way he did."

I looked down at my feet, "It's okay. I'm fine, just go."

"But--"

I cut him off, "Go, Harry."

He slid something into my hand before walking out of the stairwell. Just before the door closed I saw him glance back at me one more time.
