Chapter 5; Showers With Alex

Jack's P.O.V.

We took Alex straight to the hospital. We've been here for about an hour now only to find out he just had a concussion. We rolled Alex all the way to the bus and helped him in. "We need to go back to Maria's." I said.

"Jack it's late and Alex needs sleep. We all need sleep." Rian explained. "We can sleep at Maria's. I told her we'd come back. She's super worried and scared. She thinks this is all her fault." I explained. Zack Sighed. "I'll tell the driver." He said. "No it's fine. You guys don't have to come." I said. I stood up. "Where are you going?" Rian asked. "To Maria's. It's fine, I'll be fine." I said.

"You can't walk there alone." Zack said. "Alex needs you right now." He continued. Alex walked out from the back rubbing his head. "You guys can't we just go to Maria's. I'd like to sleep on an actual bed tonight if that's possible." He asked.

I looked over at Rian and Zack. Rian shook his head. "I'll tell the driver." He said as he stormed off. I wanted to call Maria but I never asked for her number or even just put mine in her phone. I sat down and mentally face-palmed myself. 

I grabbed my phone and went to twitter; "Dear Maria, count me in" I tweeted. I plugged my headphones into my phone then put the ear-buds in my ears and turned on 'Can you feel the heart?' ~ Bring Me The Horizon. Three songs later we got to Maria's apartment. I helped Alex walk up the stairs and knocked on the door.

Maria's P.O.V.

I had woke up about 30 minutes after I fell back asleep and "Can you feel the heart?" by Bring Me The Horizon was on. Other than Safe & Sound and Dear Maria, it was my favorite song ever. At my mom and dads house I painted song names and song lyrics all around my room and I painted real big on the wall closest to my bed was this;

Although it didn't move of course. Other lyrics from Bring Me The Horizon surrounded it. The wall across from my bed had "Dear Maria, Count Me In" on it and All Time Low lyrics around it. I've been thinking about doing that again.

I got up and walked into the kitchen and grabbed the piece of pizza I never finished eating and well ate it. I turned on the t.v. and grabbed a blanket and wrapped myself in it. Someone knocked on my door. I quickly turned off my t.v. It wasn't banging so it couldn't be Jake. But you never know I guess. I looked through the peek-hole and saw Jack and Alex.

I quickly opened the door. "Ja-" He quickly placed his lips on mine, cutting me off. I pulled away after realizing what I was doing. "Jack, I told you not to come back, someone's going to get hurt.." I sighed.

"Alex wanted to sleep on a real bed tonight and I wanted to see you." He confessed. I sighed as I grabbed Alex's arm and walked him to my bedroom. "Do you want me to wake up Haley o-" "No it's fine." He cut me off. Man everyone seems to be cutting me off tonight. I left the room and only Jack was there. "Where's Rian and Zach?" I asked.

"They decided to give us all some alone time." Jack explained. "Oh. So what happened at the hospital?" I asked as I sat down next to jack.

"He just had a concussion.." He replied. "Well at least it wasn't something really bad." I said. I laid my head down on his shoulder. "You wanna watch home alone?" I asked looking up at him. "As much as I do I rather just cuddle." He said. We both got comfty.

I started playing with his hand. Examining it closely. I don't know why it was interesting to me but it was. After awhile of playing with his hand he wrapped his arm that wasn't already wrapped around me. Jack started to smooth my hair, relaxing me. Soon enough I fell asleep.

I woke up next to this;

He was adorable. I kissed his head and got up. I walked into the kitchen and checked the time. 9:32 a.m. Not bad, I usually don't wake up till around 11 or 12. I made myself a bowl of cereal and sat down at the Island. I heard someone walking so I turned around. Alex waved. "You want some cereal?" I asked. "That'd be nice what do you have?" He asked.

I got up and put Reese's Puffs, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Cherrio's on the table. "I'll have some Cinnamon Toast crunch." He said. 

I got the milk out and got him a bowl and spoon. "Help yourself." I said sitting back down. "Thanks." He said as he poured the milk into the bowl. "No prob." I replied. "Haley still sleeping?" I asked. "Yep." He replied. "Alright." I said as I put my bowl in the sink.

"If ya want you guys can take a shower or something, I'm not exactly sure if you guys get to do that much or how that works out but it's available, help yourself. I'm gonna go quietly do my hair." I offered. 

"Thanks Maria." He said.

I smiled then walked to my room and brushed my hair out and then straightened it. After I did that I put on some make-up, not too much, just some eye-liner and mascara like usual. 

Jack's P.O.V. 

I woke up and Maria was gone. I stood up and checked the time on my phone. 9:42. I looked over into the kitchen and found Alex. I walked over and sat down "Whatchya doin?" I asked. "Eating." He said with a mouth-full of cereal. "Where's Maria?" I asked.

"Doing her hair. She said we could take showers if we want." He said. "In that case I'm gonna go get some clothes and let Rian and Zack know." I explained as I walked out the door. I ran to the bus and knocked on the door. The driver opened the door and I ran to the back and grabbed one of me and Alex's outfits. 

I knew he'd want to take a shower after me.

I woke up Rian and Zack. "Maria said we're more than welcome to take showers if you guys want." I explained. "Alright we'll be there in a few" Rian yawned. I ran back upstairs and threw Alex his clothes. "I wanna take a shower first." He whinned. "No, you can take one with me." I said walking to the bathroom. 

I was about to close the door but then Alex came running in. I shook my head laughing. I honestly didn't care. I opened a door and found wash-cloths and towels I set two towels down and threw Alex a wash-cloth. We both un-dressed and hopped in. 

-skipping this part because I don't know how to write about two males showering together.- 

We were all waiting for Haley to finish her make-up so we could go get lunch. She ran out of the room. "Okay I'm done." She said. "Finally" Maria said. "Okay so who's riding with who..? I suppose Jack and Maria will be together in her car." Haley said. "Okay." I said. "I'll come with you" Alex said.

"Same." Zack and Rian said at the same time. Alone time with Maria. Maybe I can finally ask her to be my girlfriend. We all walked down the stairs and outside to the cars. 

Everyone besides me and Maria loaded into Haley's car. Maria unlocked the doors and we got in. "And then there was two." She said as she put her seat belt on. I laughed. "So I have a question." I said. "What is it?" She asked.
