Chapter 9; Gettin' Ready

Maria's P.O.V. 

"How do you know?" I asked. "When we left the other day we were talking and he was telling me everything Haley said about you. Nothing bad. She just told him you're story basically. We all consider the fans family but he kept going on about, eventually he got to the point where he completely broke down. He felt so bad that he couldn't do anything to help you. He just wants you to be safe and sound." Jack explained. 

I sat there in shock. After a minute or so I shot up and started to grab random clothes from my drawer. I put this on.

I ran out of the room leaving Jack sitting on my bed. I walked up behind Alex and wrapped my arms around him; squeezing him tight. He folded his arms up, holding mine. 

A moment later I let go and he turned around; shocked of course. 

"I'm sorry" I said. "and don't cry over me. Ever." I gave him a smile. "What? How did yo- JACK!" He yelled trying to storm off into my room before he could get to the door I jumped on his back. "YAY HORSEY RIDE!" I hollered. "Mar get off!" He demanded. "No!" I yelled, gripping tighter.

"Mar I can't breathe!" He said trying to get me to let go. I wiggled my arms down to his elbows. Jack walked out. "MARIA LET GO OF HIM RIGHT THIS INSTANT." Jake yelled as if he was my mother. 

"No! No Jalex!" I replied. "Um, Maria, It's like 5:24.. what time do we have to leave?" Haley asked. "SHITFUCK!" I yelled jumping off of Alex running into my room. I went over to my mini stereo and turned it on and it started blasting "Time To Break Up" by All Time Low. I laughed to myself as I searched through my closet for something to wear. "HALEY." I yelled. She ran in. "What what?" She asked panicked. "You pick something out for me while I take a shower., you're much more fancy-like." I ordered running into the bathroom.

"Why do you need to take a shower?" She asked. I thought for a minute then remembering what happened. "sEX." I screamed hopping into the shower. 

Jack's P.O.V. 

"SHITFUCK!" Maria's eyes grew big as she jumped off Alex and ran into her room. Time To Break Up came on. Alex looked at me. "Well at least we know where she got shitfuck from." he grinned. We all laughed. "We should probably get ready too." Alex continued.. "Do we haaave too?" Zack groaned. "Yes. We're all going out for a fancy dinner with my aunt.. and her douche of a husband.." He mumbled the last part. 

Alex walked into Maria's room and back out about 2 minutes later with suits in his hand. He threw us each one and told us to put it on. Being the friends we are we all just got changed in front of each other not caring. All our suits were pretty much the same other than the ties. Zack had blue, Rian yellow, Alex a baby blue and me silver. 

Haley walked out looked at each of us. "Jack come here." She said grabbing my hand as she lead me into Maria's room. "Sit." She ordered. I sat down on her bed. "You're gonna help me pick out what Maria's gonna wear.." She trailed on. "Alex should be in here not me." I said. She turned around with a dress in her hands. Her eyes big. "Why Alex?" She asked.

"He's the girl in this relationship duuh. Haven't you ever seen what he wears? He even picked out this suits for us!" I grinned.

She laughed and threw a dress at me. "How about that?" She asked looking for more dresses." It was long and boring. "Even I know this is ugly." I said throwing it to the floor. Alex walked in. "What are you two doing?" He asked. "Pickin' out clothes for Maariiiaaa." I sang.

He raised his eyebrows. "You're really asking Jack out of all people for clothing advice?" 

"Well, it's her boyfriend I dunno.." Haley murmured. "You should know me by now Hay." He said pushing her aside. "Feisty, aren't we?" I joked. "Only fo' you boo." He turned around and wiggled his eyebrows. "Jack what color is your tie again?" He asked searching through her closet. "Uh, silver." I answered. "Great." He pulled out a dress and turned around. Haley gasped. We both turned and looked to her. "What..?" Alex frowned. 

"Nothing.. just that's what she wore to our prom.." She stated. "I'd figure she'd thrown it away or sold it considering it was such a bad night for her.. At least that's what she said she was gonna do with it." Haley explained. "So should I not give it to her to wear.." He frowned again. "I honestly don't know. You can try." She said. "I don't want to ups-" He stopped. "Wha-" Alex put his hand over my mouth.

Maria was singing in the bathroom. Alex moved his hand from my mouth and walked up against the door and listened.

I never knew she had an amazing voice. Haley slapped Alex upside the head. "Ow! What was that for?!" He yelled rubbing his head. "She doesn't like it when people hear her sing unless she's just goofing around. So stop." She said. "I'm sorry, it's just... Wow." He said. "Yeah she's amazing!" I jumped up. "Don't tell her you heard her sing.. or anyone matter in fact." She demanded.

Maria stepped out of the bathroom and looked at all of us. She was just in a towel, her hair already done. "why is everyone in my room?" She asked looking around. "We were picking out a dress." I smiled. She rose her eyebrows just like Alex does and looked over at Haley. "You're letting them decide?" She asked shocked. "More like me." Alex said throwing her the dress. She looked at it and frowned.

"It matches my tie!" I shouted pointing out my tie to her.

She giggled and walked into the bathroom to change. About a minute later she came out and started putting shoes and jewelry on. polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=79099224 

Maria's P.O.V. 

"You're letting them decide?" I asked Haley. "More like me." Alex explained throwing me a dress. I took a quick looked at it and frowned. Hopefully no one noticed. Jack jumped up "It matches my tie!" He pointed out. I gave him a fake giggle and walked into the bathroom. I took another look at the dress before slipping into it. I sighed and walked out. I put my shoes, gloves, hat and necklace on. 

I turned around and Jack smiled.

"Like it?" I spun around ounce showing him the front and back. "You look beautiful." He stood up and entwined our hands and pecked my lips. "Ahem.." We looked over to Alex who was standing there pouting. "Whaaat?" Jack whinned. Alex put his arms out and threw his head back. JacK walked over and pulled him in for a hug then pecked him on the lips.

Haley quickly took a picture. "TUMBLR!!" She shouted as she posted it to.. well tumblr. I shot a quick look at Alex's tie then began to push the two out of the room.

"Jalex, you must leave at once!" I said trying to push the two out but then wouldn't budge. I frowned. 

Alex smiled. "Fine, we'll take our doings else where." He said wrapping his arms around Jacks waist, 

They finally walked out. Haley took a shower the previous night so she did her hair while I picked out a dress. I threw a pretty blue dress on the bed and ran to my dresser and grabbed some jewelry and put it next to the dress. 

I got some random silver shoes and put next to the dress as well. "There now when you're done we can leave." I said walking out to find this;
