I woke up, my back to Jack and his arms wrapped around me. I smiled to myself.

This was perfect. I wanted to stay like this forever but I knew we couldn't. Jack's right arm, the one with the cuts on it, was right under my head. I carefully lifted my head up and kissed his scars.

He wrinkled his nose a little but then smiled. I laid my head back down right before he spoke. "Morning, beautiful." He mumbled in his oh so sexy morning voice.

I grinned. "Morning sexy." He pulled me closer to him, if it was possible and softly kissed my hair. "I love you." He said. "I love you too, now let me go make waffles." I demanded trying to untangle myself from him.

He groaned before letting me go. I giggled some before walking out into the kitchen. I went into the freezer and grabbed four frozen waffles.

I then put them in the toaster and pushed em' down. I started making some coffee before finally sitting down at the island.

Cold arms wrapped around me. "Hi Jack." I smiled. "Hey babe." He responded sitting down next to me.

The waffles popped out of the toaster just as he went to lean in for a kiss. I swiftly made my way to the toaster and plopped two waffles on both plates I had laid out.

I slid the plates onto the islands and got out the butter and syrup. "Coffee?" I asked. Jack nodded as he buttered the waffles. I made my usual coffee. Extra cream and extra extra sugar.

Then Jacks with extra sugar.

I placed the coffees on the table then sat back in my seat from before and buttered my waffle. "That's a lot of butter." Jack said. "I like butter okay don't judge." I explained.

He laughed as he shook his head. We finished breakfast then went onto our laptops and messed around for a little bit.

a year later

[omg you guys I realize thats a big time lapse it's freaking me out as well so don't worry]

Maria's P.O.V

It been a year now. Everything seems to be okay. Jack's stopped harming himself. He hasn't done it since the night I found out about it.

As for me I'm getting there. I honestly am. I can't remember the last time I did it so that's always good. I'm starting to get back to eating as well.

I usually have a small lunch then a normal dinner. Sometimes I freak out over the dinner and start working out straight after. I can honestly say I'm recovering and it's never felt better.

I'm almost done with collage as well. I believe I only have 2 or 3 more months of it and I should be done if I keep on the same schedule I'm on now.

Me and Jack have also decided to move in together. I'm moving in with him in his house. Which is what we're doing right now.

I tripped over my thoughts falling back into reality. "You okay?" Jack asked. "Yeah, it's all good." I smiled. He smiled before nodding and carrying on into the house and up the stairs.

We both set down the last of the boxes. "I'll leave you to it." He said. "Don't forget we're going out for our anniversary tonight." He grinned.

"So be ready in about an hour or so." He stated before walking out.

Yeah, did I mention today's our one year anniversary?  It's June 18th. My birthday was just the other day. We didn't do anything special because I figured just a dinner with the guys and Haley was enough.

I couldn't ask for more. I was putting my clothes into my dresser. I didn't have the biggest wardrobe so it wouldn't take long. But I do think folding everything neatly is kinda pointless because knowing myself, it'll be messed up in a week or so.
