you need me but i don't need you
it's always been that way, nothing's changed
we fight, i leave you
and you beg me to come back
because you miss me
and no one else bothers to care about you
or we fight, you leave
and then you beg me to let you in
because you miss me
and no one else bothers to care about you
honestly darling,
you take me for granted
because in case you haven't noticed
i've let you walk all over me
because instead of telling you
"no, you can't come back
you're a leech, you're a nuisance, you're a little girl
who has no business here"
i let you come back
because i'm a little kinder towards unfortunate people
like yourself
when i said you hurt me with your words sometimes
i didn't mean all the time, most of the time i couldn't care less
about what you say
what hurts me is your apologies
because i know that i'll end up saying,
"okay i forgive you"
instead of saying
"okay, i'm done"
you need me
but i don't need you
keep that in mind, please
