The Land of the Zodiacs are divided into four kingdoms:
The Fire, Water, Air, Earth.
These kingdoms are divided according to their capability to control the four elements (hence the name of the kingdoms).
The people in each of these kingdoms are divided into castes based on their temperaments and abilities. These are the cardinals, fixed, and mutables.
1. Cardinal- This is where those people who are born to create and lead are classified. They have the most control over their element. Skills may vary according to Kingdoms. (e.g. Fire cardinals produce fire. Air cardinals can summon hurricanes. Water Cardinals can heal people. Earth cardinals can dissolve to dust.. etc.)
2. Fixed- People under this caste are those who are firm and dependable. They usually maintain peace on their kingdoms and are not a fan of change. They have control over their element but not as much as cardinals do.
3. Mutable- This caste are composed of those people who can adapt to change. They have great interpersonal skills and can be known as the most unstable caste, followed by cardinals. They can control their element but just different and more subtle compared to the above mentioned castes.
