"Whose horse is this?"

"Mine Sir." Trevor raised his hand. "A pretty brunette archer in braids borrowed it a while ago. I'm quite worried Sir. She said t'was trouble if the horse returns without her Sir."

I remember him. Trevor is my classmate in class. A very shy yet earnest person. There is only one brunette archer brave enough to steal a horse.

"That's the Princess of Terra Kingdom Trev."

* Note: Terra means Earth. *

Another guy, I couldn't remember his name, elbowed him. "She looks princessy too. Little Trev got a li'l crush on 'er. You should've seen his face!"

"Shut up." - Trevor

"Ohoooooooy!" goes the cheers.

"Come on guys." I scratched my head, amused and concerned at the same time. * Why are champions running off somewhere without asking permission? * "I'm serious."

One of the knights whistled. "Now here's another princess." I saw his expression change from a good-natured guffaw to panic. He started stepping back. "Watch out!"

I turned around, colliding with a winged lady flapping out of control.

I let go a loud oooomph.. I pushed myself up, sitting on the ground while the Queen was panting for breath.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean t--"

"It's okay your Majesty." Her black dress smelled of smoke and blood. "Are you hurt?"

She blinked hard before pushing herself up. "Not me. Gordon." She moved past the crowd a few steps away with me following close behind. Gordon laid prostrated on the sand, limp and unconscious. One would think he was dead.

"I'm so sorry Gordon." She proceeded to pulling the unconscious boy up. "You're....soooo....HEAVY!"

"Here, let me help." I hauled the boy on my back like a sack of coconuts...and he weighs like coconuts too...a lot heavy.

* No wonder the Queen crashed. *

"We need to find a paranormal medic." She wiped the sweat off her brow. "He's been bitten by werewolves."

"Werewolves? This near the city?" Gordon convulsed as I carried him. My anxiety rattled my train of thought too. Taking a deep breath, I turned to Trevor. "You go inform the troops. Tell the knights to hunt those wolves down. They only die with silver Trev."

"Affirmative Sir!" He then gave me a salute before walking away.

"I know a paranormal medic. Although she doesn't necessarily specialize in paranormal circumstances." I rambled on as I quickened my steps towards the fortress. "I hope she's not busy right now.

Queen Sofia tapped me by the arm. She was huffing, quickening her steps too.
"I need to go fetch Lillian first. She's in a bad shape. I'm going to catch up with you. You're going to Aunt Maddie right?"

How did she know I'm going to Miss Maddie? And they're on first name basis now? That's fast.

"Yeah. Go fetch Lillian. I'll be fine."

And she was gone.

I grunted as Gordon had another seizure. I broke into a run, barrelling my way towards the infirmary.

I kicked the lab door open with my feet, shouting for help.

"Miss Maddie!!"

She looked up from the microscope's lenses, the petri dish next to her smoking.
