Alexandra's/Manami's POV

Oh my Kami living with Zabuza and Haku is the best!!! It's so much fun!!!

Haku is such a sweetheart. He's funny, caring, sweet, protective, loyal, everything you'd want in a guy. Of course I admit he's cute but I'm not into Haku like that.

Zabuza, on the other hand, is a total tsundere. But don't let him know you think that of him or you're screwed. Trust me, I talk from experience.

We are on a mission right now. We're supposed to 'meet' someone at the clearing by Rōkoku no Sato. The Howling Wolf Village.

I say 'meet' because the guy's already stood us up. Being with Zabuza has it's perks and downs. One perk? You get to kick ass. One down? You get his impatience...

"Is he coming or not?" I practically growled. Zabuza just rolled his eyes, while sweet Haku just smiled and chuckled at me.

"Rest easy Nami-chan. If he doesn't show, that just means we get to go home and rest again." Haku said, consoling me.

I looked at him pouting slightly. "He's taking forever!!! Can I have cookies when we get home?" I asked, and as soon as I finished I was shot down.

"NO!!! NO COOKIES FOR YOU!! LAST TIME WE GAVE YOU SUGAR YOU ALMOST DESTROYED THE HOUSE!!!" Zabuza, clearly dramatically, exclaimed.

"I did not!! That's a lie!!! The only thing I destroyed was the weapon room...how was I supposed to know it would lead to the house's destruction? All I did was accidentally slam the katana into a club and it turned into dominoes!! Why do you even have a club that looks like it belongs to trolls!?"

By now, Zabuza was getting annoyed. Not exactly at me, but also at the situation at hand. He swung his sword in my direction but I blocked his hit with my wrist.

Now, don't think the worst. I have metal plates protecting them. Kind of like Wonder Woman but mine are black outlined gold. They're also weights.

They were a gift from Haku. He knew stuff like this would happen. Zabuza and I fight all the time. Even when it's not for training...

Zabuza swung at me again, but this time towards my stomach area, and I dodged it by doing the splits. I swung my legs in a circular motion, knocking his feet from under him.

"Holy...did I actually knock you down!? Dude!!! That's awesome! !!" I exclaimed doing my victory dance. Zabuza, still on the ground, glanced at me and chuckled.

"You're getting better squirt. Sooner or later you'll be good enough to leave." Zabuza said. Something in his tone was off.

"Leave...I've been with you guys for a year. I don't plan on leaving till I turn 12. So next year" I told them.

Haku looked pretty sad yet happy about that. Zabuza...I'm not so sure...

"Why until you're 12?" Zabuza asked cautiously, fearing my answer.

I chuckled at his face, which was covered in bandages by the way, and simply said "I'm dying" with a sympathetic face.

Haku knew I was lying. He was trained to specialize in the human body and we've sparred plenty of times before, so he knew there wasn't anything wrong (physically) with me but decided to play along.

"Wait-WHAT!?"

I couldn't hold it in. I laughed. I laughed and laughed until my stomach hurt. Haku was definitely amused by the tsundere-cow-print-wearing-ninja's reaction.

"I-I'm sorry Zabuza...hehehe...nice to know you care...eheh, n-no, I'm leaving at twelve because I'm meant to meet up with some people then. After, I'm joining the Chunnin exams." I tried to say with out laughing.

Zabuza looked annoyed as hell. Then my words processed in his little brain and he grew confused.

"Chunnin exams? Why would you join the chunnin exams when you're clearly above that level?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"I can't tell you exactly why. Just know that it's for the best. Maybe I'll tell you-DUCK!!!" I screamed, dragging them down as I had seen an arrow going straight for Haku.

We ducked and searched for the bastard(s) who dared attack the demon of the mist, and his kick ass partners!!

"Come at me you fuckin' coward!! Fight me like a real man!! My grandma is better at this shit than you!!"

BONK!!

"Owie!! What the hell man!? I thought we were on the same side!?.................why'd you hit me!!?" I demanded.

Zabuza just ignored me so Haku nudged me. "You're not supposed to taunt the enemy Nami-chan. It's not wise to do so unless you know you will win. In which this case, we don't even know who we're facing."

"Yet Haku-kun. Yet, cause I'm going to beat his ass sooner or later. COME OUT YOU BITCH ASS GHOST!!" That's when my team thought I lost it.

"Ghost?" Zabuza asked in total utter disbelief. "What?" I dared him to continue. He shook his head and muttered something along the lines of delusional brat and stupid wannabe comedian.

No one showed, and we couldn't sense any kind of living thing around us. Like seriously no living thing at all. This was really creepy.

We went home as fast as we could and packed our stuff. We have another mission next week. A year long mission. The mission before it all starts. The mission before I met team 7.

I went up to Haku, feeling kind of blue. "Hey Haku-kun. Do you trust me?" He looked paralyzed. Shocked.

"Of course I do. You're my friend! Why would you ask such a thing?" He honestly looked completely baffled.

"Because I want to tell you something. Only the people I trust knows this. I'll tell Zabuza some time just not today. Can you keep my secret?" I told him dead serious.

Now, I know telling him about my 'powers' isn't a big deal but I can't have the world knowing about them. I don't need enemies hearing of this and coming after my power for their gain. *cough* Orochimoomoo *cough*

"Of course Nami-chan. It'd be an honor" Haku said in his polite way that only he can make sound adorable.

"I have a power. I don't know if it's a family trait or not but...I can see a possible future. That's how I knew where to find Zabuza, when and where Yoshio would be." I explained to him.

Haku was in thought. Internally, I was dying, hoping he'd say something. Externally, I was calm awaiting his answer.

After what seemed like myriads, he looked up and looked at me. But he also looked behind me and froze.

I froze at his expression and slowly turned my head to face the horror that was awaiting me. There, standing in all his terrifying glory, was the demon of the mist himself, looking like he'd been told he was going to be a father. Stunned and disbelieving.

"You what?"

I blinked thrice. "I can see a possible future."

"Can you see if-" "No."

"But-" "No."

"You don't even know what I'm going to ask!!"

"I know. But I'm sure it'll be something stupid." "I'm going to strangle you"

"Ok, fine. What do you want?" "When and how do I die? Is it absolute? Can it change?"

Silence.

"I won't tell you when you die because I will not let you. Both of you. My absolute mission is to free this world's of this immense darkness. You will not die, not while I still breathe. All the people I meet are family. My family. And I'll be damned if I let anyone hurt them while I'm still alive and kicking."

(A/N: Alright, I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. I am aware that the chapters are messed up but I won't fix that until I'm done with the story. I tried fixing it but it only got worse so I'll fix that after the story is over. I won't bother you guys with the mission, I'm sorry for all the time skips but in order to start the actual plot I needed to explain everything that has happened before it all started. And I want to start that soon so...yea. I hope you enjoy ^ω^)
