Manami's POV

"Hideyoshi. For the last time. No." I told him sternly. He was giving me those stupid puppy dog eyes. Normally they're my biggest weakness, but he sucks. So I wasn't buying it.

"C'mon cupcake. Please? I'll love you forever!!" He pleaded. Gosh this guy doesn't understand the meaning of no.

"Hideyoshi Kosonoy I am going to castrate you if you don't stop asking. I. Said. No. Do I have to sing the no means no song to you again?" I asked him annoyed.

He shook his head rapidly. "NO!! NOT THAT STUPID SONG AGAIN!! GAH!! IT'S SO ANNOYING!!!" He exclaimed making me smirk in triumph.

"Then shut up. I said no. There's no way I'm doing that with you. If I were to do it, it would be with Shikamaru. Not you. So stop asking." I said with a finality tone to it.

He sighed sadly. "But we're engaged. We're supposed to be partners y'know? We help each other. We do these things together. Not with other people. That's not how marriage works." He pouted.

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah? Well why didn't you just say so? As my fiancé, help me with errands. That's what life partners do. Help each other out. You can help with the heavy duty stuff." I retorted.

He froze and awkwardly shuffled away. Ha! I win! Manami 1 Hideyoshi 0. Loser. I can't believe he had the nerve to ask me to train with him after he beat my team mate.

Any way, today was an important day because today all the genin rookies are getting together before the exams tomorrow.

I say it's an important day because, just like with the bijuu's, I'm planning on training the rookies into a group. They will need trust, experience, and knowledge.

For example, Naruto and Sakura will soon need to learn how to trust Shikamaru's intellect. Naruto and Kiba need to learn about the ShikaCho bond and trust it as well as learn how to fight alongside them.

Obviously I can't include team Gai just yet since they don't know me well, let alone trust me. But all in due time I suppose. For now, I have to stick with explaining the idea to the rookies, as well as learning to trust them myself.

Once I can ensure my, and their, trust, I believe we can accomplish a lot more. After all, my favorite lesson in being a ninja is using teamwork. Everything is tons easier and a lot more effective... Most of the time.

I finally arrived at the clearing where I had told my team, Shika, and Shino, about my 'powers'. No one was here. I was a bit thrown off at first until I sensed their chakra reserves scattered around, hiding.

I smiled proudly. "It's just me losers, you can come out now!" I announced. One by one, they all appeared before me. What surprised me the most, however, was that the sand siblings were also here.

"Tema? Kitty Kat? Aniki? What are you guys doing here?" I asked them, completely thrown off now. They stood quiet at first, then broke out into grins and replied. "We overheard you saying you were holding a secret meeting with these rookies. We already know most of your secrets so we thought to ourselves, why not?" Temari answered.

"Ok then? I guess you can stay then. But if you tell a soul... I will have to execute you." I told them as serious as I could, which worked because their grins fell. Well, Gaara wasn't even grinning in the first place.

I laughed at that. "Oh c'mon I'm joking. Jeez." They relaxed visibly. Again, Gaara wasn't even tensed up in the first place.

"Ok, well first things first. I called you 9 here because I want to learn to trust you. Just as much as I want you guys to trust me. So, in order for me to do that, I decided to get you all together and tell you a secret of mine. Hopefully, after I do so, you can open up to me a bit and... Well... That's not important just yet." I started.

Kiba was the first to speak. "I'm out of here. You're pretty, I'll give you that, but I'm not sticking around to listen to this crap. You kinda creep me out. No offense. C'mon Akamaru." He said turning around, about to leave until he was stopped by a hand holding the collar of his shirt.

Shino then spoke. "I trust you Manami. If this is about your powers then we're sticking around. Why? Because when it comes to you, these things are always important." He said, still holding a whining Kiba in place.

"WELL I'M STICKING AROUND NO MATTER WHAT!! I TRUST YOU MANAMI AND WE'RE FRIENDS!! FRIENDS STICK TOGETHER!! BELIEVE IT!!" Awwww~ I love that knucklehead.

I gave him a thumbs up. I looked at Sasuke, knowing that he was the key to everyone else that doubts me to stay. *cough* Ino&Sakura. *cough*

He nodded at me curtly signalling his stay and trust. I smiled at him and, if I'm not going crazy, I think he smiled back of only by a ghost is a smile.

Ino then started complaining. "Why do you guys all trust this girl? What's so special about her? Her eyes change? Big deal! She has weird powers? Why is that trust worthy? We should probably be scared of this freak!! Look at her! She's weird!"

That hurt. I looked down in sorrow, my hair covering my face. This is why I wanted to escape the other world. To escape the insults about being different.

I began to tear up remembering the horrible treatment I received from my own father. Maybe not my real father, but my father nonetheless. However, now was not the time to mope about the past. It was time to act.

I decided to speak up, breaking up the argument that had started to arise. Even Sasuke and Kiba were defending me in their own ways. I mentally smiled, knowing that at least I knew I had some friends who would defend me no matter what.

"Guys, it doesn't matter. Let it go. I don't care what she has to say. Let her rant away. I won't let her bother me in any case. My point is that I wish to entrust you with vital information and I need your trust. I'll trust you if you trust me. Deal?" I said.

They nodded. Some were hesitant about it but eventually nodded once they felt Gaara's, Shino's, and Shikamaru's glare on them. They really are a force to be reckoned with I tell you.

"Great, so first things first, Gaara. Sound proof please. Shino. Light please? Now everyone be quiet and listen." And I told them everything. The Kosonoy clan, their traditions, Hideyoshi, the Miraigan, and finally the Naruto plot ending that I want to prevent.

They were speechless to say the least. Thankfully, Chōji broke the silence. "So where do we come in?" He asked, for once not munching away. He had his chips, he was just not eating them at the current moment.

"I want us to train together. Earn each others trust. Gain knowledge about each others abilities so that we can find the groups that work best with each other. Attain experience and get better. That way, we can be prepared. Who's with me?" I asked.

Everyone cheered and chorused music to my ears. "I AM!!" "ME" "YEAH!!" "BELIEVE IT!!!" while others smiled instead.

Alright then. Let's get this shit started then.
