Alexandra's/Manami's POV

So, it's the day of the first test. Yuika, Akumu and I made our way to the room but, of course Izumo and Kotetsu were blocking the way. We weren't worried though. We're VIP after all. Wondering how? Just check this out.

"Hello boys, nice seeing you, now move." I said morphing my voice with Akuma's voice. They were shaking, but wouldn't budge. Hmph, guess they didn't get the memo.

I was about to flash Tenshi's eyes when Yuika held me back. "I've got this one. Boys, move it or lose it." She said, resting her twin katanas on their necks. They stepped aside immediately.

I smirked and nodded at her in gratitude as we went ahead. Knowing full well that we were early. When we made it to the room, only Ame's ninja and the sand siblings were here.

I walked towards Gaara unaware of the looks his siblings were giving us. "Ello love~" I snickered.

He just nodded at me. I pouted. "You're being boring until the exams are over... Aren't you?" I asked dejectedly, anime crying.

We were talking for a little while until I felt an arm go around my shoulders. I have 3 guesses. Kiba, Shika, and Naruto.

I turned around and was surprised to see Ino. "Hey freak, is this your boyfriend? Makes sense, you're both freaky and ugly." She laughed at her own bad joke. Bad choice.

I was about to say something when Akumu and Yuika both smirked and leaned their arms on her. As if they had practiced this in private they spoke in harmony. "Why do you ask? Jealous she can get the guy and you can't?" Hitachiin twins much?

I was shocked nonetheless. Sure we're friends but I guess I just never realized just how close we really were. I smiled at them and looked at Ino.

"Speaking of guys, where's my beloved Shika-kun? Did he ditch you for being an annoying ass already? I don't blame him." I said sassily.

"I'm right behind you Manami. Jeez, what a drag. Am I invisible now?" Shikamaru said appearing out of thin air, Chōji behind him munching away.

I sharply turned around and jumped on him. "Shika-kun!! I missed you boo!!" I joked with him. He turned red but smirked, obviously playing along.

"We were together all last night and all morning you troublesome woman." Akumu and Yuika looked amused. They raised their eyebrows at me.

"What were you guys doing all night and morning together? Hmm?" Akumu asked. That's when Shika couldn't take it anymore and blushed deeply.

I snickered at the scene and kissed Shika's cheek. "He was being my knight in shining armor of course. Weren't you babe?" I teased him.

"S-shut up you troublesome woman. I only offered, you didn't have to agree. This can go both ways you know?" He defended himself, smirking at the end.

I lightly blushed. "I know." I said looking down knowing the shit ton of bull I was going to go through for that comment from Akumu and Yuika. Then, I noticed a bug on my jacket. Not just any though. A kikaichū bug. SHINO!! :D

I turned around and came face-to-face with Shino Aburame himself. I grinned at him and he nodded in return.

I hesitated a little bit but asked anyway. "Hey, Shino? I know this is random but... Can I hug you? I dunno why but, I feel like you'd be a great hugger." I asked awkwardly.

He was shocked to say the least. Reason I say that, is because he stumbled backwards as if I had lightly pushed him. I still can't see his face, which annoys me. But it's cool, I'll see his face someday. You'll see. >:)

Any who, he was frozen for a minute or so, but composed himself and went back to being a mystery. (¬_¬)

I looked down, embarrassed I had even asked, when I felt arms surrounding me. I looked up shocked to see Shino, his cheeks lightly red.

But I was ecstatic so I ignored it and hugged him back. I was right. He's a great hugger. The kind that are warm, comfy, and safe. Do you know what I mean?

Any way, we noticed team 7 barge into the room and Ino trampled us all over to get to 'her Sasuke'. Jeez, Shika is right. She's an outright troublesome woman.

Narrator's POV

As Ino made her way towards team 7 no one seemed to notice that Shikamaru was glaring daggers at the Aburame boy.

He was so upset by the hug, even though he was scolding himself for being so clingy, he followed his teammate to bitterly greet the other team.

What he doesn't know though is that, Shino also feels resentment towards the Nara boy for being so close to the bi-colored haired girl.

For once, someone acknowledged his presence and didn't insult him. He held a high respect for her and found it easy to befriend her. Even if he didn't talk.

He liked her and didn't even know it.

Alexandra's/Manami's POV

I swear I wanted to kill Kabuto-teme but, I had to keep him alive unfortunately. In the midst of snickering at Kabuto's failure, Ibiki appeared.

"ALRIGHT YOU BABY FACED DEGENERATES!!! PIPE DOWN AND LISTEN UP!!! It's time to begin. I'm Ibiki Morino, your proctor. And from this moment, your worst enemy."

Silence followed. Only broken by laughter. Everyone turned in the direction the voice was emitting from. There, wiping tears away, was me. Ibiki was annoyed, knowing full well who it was.

Interesting fact, I met Ibiki the first week of being here in Konoha and well, we got along just fine... But, only because he got the partial truth out of me and admired my life mission I've set for myself.

"Eheh... Sorry 'Biki-san, you just looked so cool, I couldn't help but think... How you're really not... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" I laughed. That is until I got hit over the head by the meanie himself.

While I was wallowing in self pity in a corner, Ibiki continued on with instructions. Shika was lazily coaching me into getting out of my loving corner with Shino watching in the back. Yuika and Akumu teasing me for being such a baby.

Finally I got out after Shino had enough. "Get up. Why? Because if you do, I'll let you play around with my bugs and buy you food." He said.

I gasped. This guy knows his way to a girls heart. "OTAY!!" I exclaimed glomping him. That was until I was ripped off of him by none other than my beloved lazy ass, Shikamaru.

"C'mon Manami leave the poor guy alone, he probably doesn't like physical contact like that-" He was cut off by, and get this, Shino.

He held my arm back. "I don't mind." Was all he said. I gave him a small smile and linked all our arms to go get our numbers.

I sat down and noticed I was sitting next to Hinata. Yay!! She's so cute. Akumu was next to Shika, and Yuika was next to Gaara.

It was time, at last. I looked at Ibiki seriously when I had eventually settled down. Decisively saying the words that sent everyone into slight anxiety, Ibiki said,

"You have 1 hour. BEGIN!!!"
