Chapter Four || A raw ending to a great love story

Location: LA, CALI

"Can you at least tell me where it is?" I whined as I picked at my salad.

"The Nice Guy" Calvin cheesed and my heart fluttered.

"Kylie Jenner had her birthday dinner there! How even?" I gasped now overly excited.

"I know some people, it's your twenty-first birthday I figured we go big or go home" he shrugged.

"You're amazing" I beamed then clapped my hands together.

"I got you a gift too so I hope you're excited" he laughed and I frowned but he just laughed some more. We agreed no gifts but clearly he doesn't know what no means.

"You'll thank me later A" he winked then took a bite of my chicken.

"So as you know after I'm flying home to see my family, I figured you should tag along. Meet my dad and my boys, see where I grew up and see my favorite spots in the city" I said cautiously.

"Already booked my flight so no need to ask Ab" he chuckled with this boyish smile. "Are you sure you're ready for this? This commitment?"

I shrugged all giddy. "I mean yeah, it's just my dad no big deal"

"Oh" he nodded and there was some disappointment in his voice but he dismissed it with a coy smile. "So what are the plans for the rest of the day, wanna get dinner tonight?"

"I'm actually going to the guys house tonight, Ross is making us this vegan dinner or whatever and they're gonna play some music for me and I'll probably be home late but I could come over after and we can cuddle" I cheesed trying to lighten the situation a bit.

"Yeah sure" he shrugged then pulled out his wallet. "Come on I'll drive you"

"Thank you" I smiled but I knew he was mad at me.

When we pulled up to the pretty house Calvin parked outside and turned to me.

"Good luck" he huffed then pressed his lips to my forehead.

"I'm not going to war Cal, I'm gonna talk to Matty eat some nasty ass food then come home to you" I giggled cupping his face.

"Right" he rolled his eyes then kissed me. "See you tonight, want me to pick you up?"

"Yes if that will mellow your jealousy" I giggled then kissed his again before climbing out the car and heading into the house. Jamie just so happened to get me a key made.

When I walked inside there was lots of commotion going on and everyone was everywhere which was a bit overwhelming but nice to see everyone on cloud nine.

"You're here" George beamed then wrapped his long arms around my tiny body. "Was that the lover who dropped you off?"

"That was" I nodded avoiding James's evil eyes.

"His car is lovely" Adam beamed like such a boy. "He should let me drive it"

"I'm sure he'll let you if you let him play your fender" I smirked and all their faces beamed. Except Matty and James ofc.

"He plays?" Jamie asked.

"Yeah, not as amazing as you guys though but he plays" I giggled with sarcasm.

"It's a date then" Adam winked.

"Gross" I laughed then set my purse down. Coincidentally I was carrying my only Celine today.
