When I woke up the bus smelled like yummy goodness. Matty wasn't to the left of me which was odd since I'm usually the first to get up.
It got even more strange when I looked at the time, it wasn't even noon yet I still heard voices outside my door.
"Happy Thanksgiving!!!" My boys cheered as I opened my room door.
Matty was at the stove burning something, George and Adam stuffing and seasoning the smallest bird I had ever seen in life and James, Ross and John hanging decorations on the bus.
"What the hell?" I giggled walking past the bunks.
"We felt bad that you had to be stuck here instead of with your family today so we decided to....throw a feast" John questioned himself.
"Clearly" I chuckled nodding my head. "But uh Jamie didn't tell you guys?"
"Tell us what exactly?" Matty asked.
"I'm flying home tomorrow, after the next two shows you guys get a short break so he's letting me fly home early" I said hoping they reacted well to the news.
"Oh, well that's amazing" Adam spoke first. "Why didn't you leave today?"
"Tickets were crazy expensive" I cringed still remembering when I tried to buy them. "But this is so amazing thank you so much"
"It's honestly no big deal, we know how much the holidays mean to you" George nodded smiling big. "Uh there's mash and stuffing for breakfast"
"Yum" I said cautiously grabbing a paper plate.
"No sit well serve you!" Ross smiled running over and grabbing the plate from me.
"Want wine?" George smiled walking me over to sit at the little table attached to the wall.
"It's not even noon yet" I said but as I glanced at all their faces I knew they had news. "Sure, red is fine"
"Wonderful" George nodded then nudged at Adam.
"So is anyone gonna tell me what's going on?" I asked because usually they would be asleep and as much as they love me they wouldn't be doing all this just for my benefit.
They all looked at one another then James grew the balls and sat across from me with a pretty smile on his face. "We've all come to the conclusion that we need more people"
"Sorry?" I asked not liking where this was heading.
"So Jamie has added some new people to the tour, to help out with some things" James said and they all nodded. "Uh Matty's cousin is gonna be handling out merch and we have our friend-"
"How many?" I asked trying not to react to harsh.
"Well let's see" James started to count in his head using his fingers. "Fives guys"
"Lovely" I sighed shaking my head. "Are we getting another bus or?"
"Yes but two of them will be staying on this bus since we have the space, I think they'll just tag along with the others till Jamie sorts it out" James shrugged then smiled.
"When do I meet them?" I asked and I knew the answer but I just love hearing them say it.
"Today" Ross clapped. His enthusiasm lightened my mood.
"Okay well we have things to do today so just text them the address of the warehouse" I said as I stood up with my plate in my hand.
"Warehouse?" Matty questioned.
