Isabella's POV:

As soon as the cannons fired, any form of plan was thrown out the window.

The Spanish ship on our left began to fire back at us while the ship to our right began to turn sideways to board our ship. I didn't know which way to look since we were flanked on both sides and it was making my heart race as every second passed by.

Harry cursed loudly as he looked back and forth before glaring at one of the ships. "This isn't going to be pretty." he said and I nod my head to him, knowing he was right. "We need to split in half." I say and Harry looks at me with a raised eyebrow.

"Split in half?" he asks and I nod, an idea forming in my head. "If we split in half, one group could focus on the ship attacking us while the other half focuses on fighting the ones about to board our ship." I say and he nods.

"That's not a bad idea. Let's do it." he says and I roll my eyes. "It's not like I'm stupid or anything." I nag and he chuckles. "You never cease to surprise me, that's all." he says with a wink and I shake my head with a small smile, seeing Harry address the crew.

"We're splitting up! Niall, you take half the crew and focus on bringing that ship down and taking care of the fires over here! Liam, take the other half and get ready to fight. Leave Niall with the supplies. We'll need every man we can spare." Harry shouts and the crew lets out a shout of agreement to let Harry know they heard him.

Everybody began to scramble around to get to where they were ordered and I let out a sigh. "How are you holding up, Louis?" I ask, looking over to see a strained look on his face, but he still smiled nonetheless. "Just fine. These guys are really wanting to make this ship turn to the left, but it won't happen." he says and I nod.

"Keep it up, Louis!" I encourage and he chuckles before nodding his head. I turned around, seeing Harry facing the men who were throwing ropes over to our ship so they could board.

"Cut the lines!" Harry orders and the crew reacts quickly. Liam goes to cut the lines but before he could get to them, he had to duck under a sword that was thrown across the ship. My eyes widened as I looked over, seeing one of the Spaniards giving him a very nasty smile. He was built, very muscular, pretty tall, and had a certain gleam in his eyes that reminded me of Captain Jack that we faced off with so many years ago.

The feeling I got from him wasn't a very pleasant one, but I knew that we'd have to get him as well, despite his intimidating posture. Liam got back up and began to chop at the lines, sending some Spaniards falling down into the waters, while others made a leap for either our ship or back to their own.

A few men boarded our ship, getting Liam preoccupied as he battled against them. Zayn began to fight as well, gritting his teeth together as one of the Spaniards tried to swing his sword upwards to knock him off balance.

I gripped my sword tightly, about to run down there whenever Harry grabbed my arm, stopping me. I look at him, about to protest whenever I see the look on his face. He wasn't even looking at me, but out at the Spanish ship, his eyes narrowed slightly while his jaw was tensed up. He was angry.

"What is it?" I ask, seeing his eyes never leave the ship as he answers me. "I don't believe it." he mutters and I raise my eyebrow, looking to where he was staring, seeing him staring at the man who threw the sword at Liam. "Do you know him, Harry?" I ask and he swallows hard, continuing to glare at him.

"I know that bastard. It's Drake's older brother, Duke." he says in an icy tone and I freeze. My eyes slowly go over towards Duke, seeing the grin on his face and my eyes widen. That grin...that look in his eyes...it's just like him.
