"An innocent can be guilty." - Bella
Harry's POV:
I stared at Bella as she laid in bed, her eyes closed and her lips parted slightly, her breathing normal now. She gave all of us a fright whenever she collapsed on the deck, but after seeing her wound it didn't surprise me at all.
She had a deep cut from the middle of her forearm all the way to the middle of her triceps. Her elbow was sliced to the bone since there was hardly any cushion to save it, so it left everything exposed. The only thing we can do for it right now is just patch it up. None of us know how to fix a wound like this.
She'll have to wait until we get to England for her to see a proper doctor to fix her up permanently. She began to stir in her sleep and I smiled at her until her face contorted in pain and my eyes widened as she began to struggle to move her arm.
"No Bella! Bella, stop trying to move your arm!" I say hurriedly, going over to her and holding down her shoulders, making her whimper. Her eyes shot open before she blinked several times, realizing that it was me she was staring at.
"Harry." she whispers and I smile relieved. "It's okay Bella. We're all okay. You just can't move your arm." I say and she nods slowly. I help her into a sitting position and when she gets up she looks down at the bandages covering her entire arm.
"Hold still." I say, grabbing a long white cloth and wrapping it around her arm, making her a sort of sling to keep her arm still. She winced in pain and I shot her an apologetic look but she just smiled at me.
"Thank you." she says and I grin. "Gave us all a mighty scare, Bella." I say and she frowns. "I'm sorry. I really am. I just wanted to make sure you were all safe." she whispers and I grin. "We are." I say and her eyes widen.
"My mom. Where's my mom?" she asks and I ease her back down as she tried to get up, making sure she didn't move too much. "She's fine. She's actually being well taken care of by Niall and Liam. We can go see her, but you can't move too much. The wound on your arm is critical. We'll have to rush to a doctor whenever we land in England." I say and she nods to me in understanding.
"I'm going to see my mom." she says determined and I chuckle, not expecting anything else from her. I ease her out of bed before we begin to walk, Bella gingerly holding her arm as she did.
We got out onto the deck and as soon as everyone spotted Bella, cheers erupted from the entire crew. They began to crowd her but I put myself between her and them, giving them a warning glare. "She's in no position to be hugged or even clapped on the back. Her arm has to be taken care of first." I state and they all frown slightly at the news before nodding in agreement, still expressing their happiness to her that she was alive and kicking.
Bella smiled happily as I led her up the stairs, stopping whenever she saw her mother leaning against the mast, giving Liam a hearty smile as he gave her some bread. "Mom." she whispers, just loud enough for her mother to hear her.
Whenever her mother looked over, a huge smile broke out on her face. "Oh, my baby girl." she cries softly and Bella rushes over to her, forgetting her wound and falling to her knees, throwing her free arm around her mother as they embraced.
"I'm so glad you're safe." Bella murmurs and I smile as I walk over to them, taking a seat next to Mrs. Perkins. "You risked your life for me and you're so badly injured. I should be the one thankful you're alive." her mother whispers, pulling away and wiping a tear from Bella's eye.
"I would never abandon you Mom." she says with a smile and I found her smile contagious. All of us were smiling at the mother and daughter, happy to see them reunited once more. After a few moments Bella looked her mother up and down, a frown on her face.
