I was touched, Damon rarely cooked for people, considering he was a vampire he didn't much like it. Nor did he like the smell of food. I sat the wrong way on the couch admiring the beauty that was making me lunch, I couldn't even imagine how creepy I must've looked.
"Hey, Elena have you seen Jeremy?" Alaric asked me, tapping my shoulder.
"Oh, um he should be in his room." I told him, and whipped my head back round to watch Damon.
"Yeah, don't you think that was the first place I looked?" Alaric replied, placing his hand on my head and spinning it round to face him.
"Ring him them, he's probably out. He normally is." I suggested. I then again spun my head back round, watching Damon cook was something to treasure, it will probably not happen ever again.
"Elena." Alaric huffed as he walked round the couch to stand in front of me. "I get it, Damon's adorable but please, you need to focus and help me find him."
"Awr, thanks Ric." Damon teased as he put some pasta onto a plate for me.
"Sorry, okay. Umm... The Grill? I'll ring Matt." I said and sprang up from the couch just as Damon set the plate on the coffee table in front of it. I mouthed the words sorry to him and dialed the Grill's number.
"The Mystic Grill, how can I help?" I female voice cooed down the phone.
"Hi, er can I speak to Matt Donovan?" I hesitated.
"Sure, I think he's here. One sec while I go check.
I heard the faint noise of footsteps, then a whole load of people chattering.
"Hello?" Matt asked very unsure of who I was.
"Hey Matt it's Elena. Have you seen Jeremy? We can't find him." I replied, running my fingers through my hair.
"Nope. Not here. If you want I can help you look." Matt offered.
"In fact, I think it's best you just stay put and see if he wanders in or something." I suggested.
"Sure, keep me posted." Matt replied and hung up.
"Not at the Grill." I told Alaric.
"Okay, well he wouldn't go out without telling me so where the hell could he be?" Alaric said annoyed.
"How about us three spit up and look, if we haven't found him in twenty minutes call Caroline, Stefan, Tyler and Bonnie." Damon told us. I nodded and set off on foot as Ric and Damon took the two cars. I ran down the sidewalk, heading for wherever it took me. Jeremy wasn't really the type of guy to go wandering off without notifying anyone first. Which worried me. Then it hit me, maybe he was at the cemetery. I span on my heel and changed my course, heading in the other direction. Hope stuck though me, he must be at the cemetery.
Jeremy's P.O.V
I was being dragged against my will into the cemetery building by some guy I'd never seen in my life. He had green eyes and short brown hair, but what the heck did he want with me? I couldn't really give him anything. I struggled to fight him off and escape from his grip which gave me the impression he was a vampire, that only made me want to fight more. His grip was fully around my neck, he had taken me through the woods so no one would spot us and the cemetery was completely empty too. Typical, the one time I would've done anything to be around loads of people, no one shows.
"Let... Go... Of... Me." I managed to say between breaths.
"Gladly." He replied, dumping me into the cemetery building and closing the door behind him. "Now it would probably be better if I introduced myself. I'm Jack, nice to meet you Jeremy.
"Hm, and how do you know my name?" I asked after I got my breath back.
"Well, if I know practically everything about your sister then you are bound to be in the equation.
"Why do you know my sister?" I asked, anger creeping up in my voice.
"She is very important to Klaus, isn't she?" Jack grinned.
"Klaus. I should've known."
"Yes, yes you should've. So basically, I'm going to start the first part of my plan right here."
"Wait, what?" I asked confused. But before I could question him anymore, he suck his fangs into him wrist and shoved it to my mouth. Great, he was going to turn me into a vampire.
