"Ooh! What about this one?" Caroline squealed as she ran for the little black dress hanging helplessly on its hanger. "It's your size too!"
"Caroline, stop it." I ordered, I'd been following her around every single clothes shop. It gets a little boring after a while.
"Stop what?" She snapped, holding the dress up to me to check it would fit.
"Stop trying to make this into some fun shopping trip, we both know it's not." I sighed, pushing the dress away from me.
"I know, I'm sorry. I can't even imagine how Damon's feeling. But we are burying him tonight, you kinda need a dress. Don't already have one?" Caroline replied, putting the dress back on its hanger.
"Yeah, I did but I haven't put it on since Jenna's funeral... I don't really want to. Too many bad memories of that time, Jenna dying, Klaus coming into town, Damon's werewolf bite, Jeremy being bought back to life, Stefan leaving town... It's all too much." I replied. Caroline turned around and picked up the dress again.
"Then I want you to try this on, after wards we can have some proper shopping time." Caroline giggled, I sighed and grabbed the dress from her hands. "Oh come on! Now you don't want to shop any more? Elena I'm doing you a favour! I'f you weren't here with me you'd be at home in your room all alone forcing yourself to think about Stefan."
I didn't reply, I headed to the dressing rooms and slipped on the dress unwillingly. It was a nice dress, it did fit me... I walked out of my dressing room and Caroline gasped, her eyes looked like they were going to pop out of her head.
"Wow! You look beautiful! And if you want to go after this, then I won't stop you." She told me. I nodded at her, giving her a tiny smile.
"Thanks, Care."
"You know what? Get that dress off and give it to me, you need to go home. I'll buy it for you." She offered.
"No, I can't let you do that. I'll pay for it."
"Elena, only one of our boyfriends lost their brother yesterday. That was you, Damon needs you right now. So go be all Elenary to him." She ordered.
Jeremy's P.O.V
"Bonnie, what's up? Why did you call me?" I asked her as she opened her front door to let me in.
"I have an idea, I think I can brung Stefan back." She replied, making sure no one was following me.
"What? That's impossible! How?" I questioned. I felt like grabbing her and shaking her.
"Don't get your hopes up, I can't bring everyone back. It's just an idea, if I took the resurrection magic in your ring and used in on Stefan's body, it could bring him back..." She mumbled, turning to face Stefan's body.
"That's why you wanted the body? Bonnie Stefan is supernatural, the ring won't work on him." I told her.
"It's the ring that won't work, the magic might, we just need to try!"
"Will I get my ring back?"
"Of course, I need to take the power from the ring, put it inside Stefan, then when he wakes up I take the magic out of him and back in the ring." She explained.
I hesitated for a second and then slid the ring off of my finger, placing it in Bonnie's open and waiting hand. She nodded to thank me and turned back to Stefan. She placed the ring between her palms and started to speak the words of witch craft.
Damon's P.O.V
I laid down on my bed, staring at the ceiling. What else was I supposed to do? Play footbal with my little brother? I couldn't do that anymore, he was gone. Gone for good, I had to accept the fact that I would never see my little brother again. I sighed and sat up, I couldn't just sit here for the rest of my life. I needed to do something, but I didn't want to. I wasn't the typed of guy to cry, god no. How could I get everything I was feeling out in the open? Then it hit me.
I shot off of my bed and vampire sped straight across the hall and into Stefan's room. I walked around a bit at first, looking at all of his things. I walked to the book case and picked up one of his diaries. I read a few pages, and then I snapped completely. I threw the book against the wall and grabbed the bookcase, pulling it with all my strength as it tumbled to the floor helplessly. I flipped over his bed and smashed the photo of him and Elena that he kept on his bedside table. I yanked out all of the drawers on his dresser, ripped out all the clothes hanging in his closet...
"Damon! Stop it!" Elena yelled as she ran to my side, trying to calm me down.
"Some people cry, some people write their feelings now. Well this is what I do, I get angry." I shouted, ripping my hand out of hers and continued to destroy Stefan's room.
"No Damon, no! You will not deal with it this way! Calm down! Please! Damon I don't like seeing you angry! Just stop! Please, get control of yourself!" Elena begged. I stopped just as I was about to throw another picture frame, I turned it over to look at the photo. It was a photo of me and Stefan, with our arms around each other.
"Elena I can't do this anymore." I whispered, I felt her hand slip into mine and squeeze it tight.
"You can, you just need someone to help you." She whispered back.
I nodded, I knew she meant herself.
