Everything was too quiet for my liking. And I didn't like that. I looked around, what was Stefan up to? And why was Caroline so eager to keep us all indoors. Ha, a storm, that's a pathetic excuse. It's summer, there have been no signs of a storm. That little blond liar, and proof that I was surrounded by gullible idiots. I couldn't really see Stefan anywhere from where I was standing, so I decided to look around a bit more. All I could see were trees, trees, holiday homes, and more trees. It was official, this place was rubbish.
"Stef?" I called, trying to not catch Caroline's attention from inside.
I felt a cold breeze against my back. That was odd, considering it was extremely hot outside. Didn't know they had outside fans here. I span around to see a surprisingly smug looking vampire staring at me with all of his smuggyness. He waved at me with a stake before shoving it through my stomach. Shoot. Maybe that was why Caroline wanted us to stay indoors.
Elena's P.O.V
Bonnie had paused the Zombie movie, waiting to see mine and Caroline's reaction to blood and guts being blown all over the screen.
"Yuck!" Caroline squealed, throwing a cushion at the T.V
"It's not so bad, besides the actual story is pretty cool. Imagine us against zombies!" Bonnie gasped.
"With Damon with us, we'd be fine. He's just rip their heads off." I teased, looking over to where Damon was sitting... Where was he? "Where did he go?"
"The kitchen... About ten minutes ago." Bonnie replied. I got up and walked into the kitchen. He wasn't there.
"Not in here." I shouted to the girls.
"Hm... Did he go outside?" Bonnie suggested.
"He'd better not have! I said no one should go outside!" Caroline overreacted.
"He doesn't really have to listen to you Care. He has like what? one-hundred and fifty years on you." I replied.
"So? He should still understand that outside is not an option." She told me.
"He'll be fine, I mean come on. It's Damon we're talking about." I said, with a very good point.
Almost two hours past, still no Damon. I decided to go out looking him, with the help of Caroline, Jeremy and Bonnie. Matt, Ric and Tyler went off separately, looking for Stefan.
Jack's P.O.V
I struggled to lug Damon's body into the woods at first. Then I took off his leather jacket and found it a lot easier. Sheesh. I hadn't spotted Klaus yet, but I could sense he was here somewhere. I dumped Damon's body right by a big tree so I could remember where to find him later and set off to find Elena Gilbert before Klaus did.
Stefan's P.O.V
I'd found him.
"Klaus." I muttered.
"Hello, rippaahh." He smiled smugly. Dammit, I hated that nick name.
"You need to go." I replied, ignoring him.
"Of course, once I have Elena." He stated.
"Not going to happen." I said quickly.
"We'll see about that."
"Yes. We will. Now leave."
"As you wish." Klaus replied and vampire sped out of my sight. But the question was, had he actually gone? Most likely the answer was no.
