Merida

"Merida..." I heard mum said quietly. I turned to her.

"What's wrong, mum?" I asked her.

"Yer gonna be married!" She told me, happily.

I automatically sat up. "Wait what!? From who!?" I shrieked.

"From Hiccup, yer dad's enemy's son." She answered.

I froze. Hiccup!? As in... Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the third!? We've been loving each other secretly even though our family are kinda enemies. He's such a dorky two shoes guy, and I can seem any bad about him. "Ye've got to be kidding meh..." I muttered in disbelief.

"Ahm not, Merida." Mum responded.

"But mum, Ahm 17, and Ahm not sure if Ahm able to have eh husband in this age." I complained. But deep inside, I'm excited and confused.

I mean, my family hates his family, and I suddenly heard a news that me and Hiccup are going to have a fixed marriage... from mum! Am I in a cloud nine or something?

"Merida, Aye know, but ye have to marry him, or else, our family and their family are going to make the World War III exist." Mum told me exaggeratedly.

"Okay, fine. Where's the wedding dress so Aye can fit on it?" I said, trying to mask in my excitement.

**meanwhile**

Hiccup

"You're gonna be in arrange marriage." Mom suddenly told me.

I groaned. "Ugh, please don't tell me it's Astrid."

"No. It's Merida DunBroch from Scottland." She told me.

I widened my eyes and stood up straight. "I... I don't understand. Our family hates their family, right?" I asked her.

"I know, but it's the only way to make our family and their family to have truce." Mom said.

She noticed me smiling, that made her smile too. "Is there... something I didn't know about you?" she asked me.

"No..." I muttered and she rose a brow. I sighed and throw my hands up. "Fine. I've been loving Merida ever since we met and before our family and their family had a war." I admitted.

She smiled warmly. "Oh, I'm so proud of you." She said, pinching my cheeks.

"So, where's my tux?" I asked her, obviously excited.

**day of fixed marriage**

I saw Merida walking down the isle, and she sure is gorgeous with her wedding gown. I couldn't help but smile.

She saw me smiling and smiled back. It's barely visible, since her head is covered with veil.

When we both got in front of the priest, our fingers intertwined in each other.

**after the vow, and the exchanging rings**

"Do you, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, love your bride to eternity?" The priest asked me slowly.

"I do." I answered, giving Mer a smile, and my dimples just got visible.

The priest turned to Mer, but Mer is focused on me. "Do you, Merida DunBroch, love your groom to eternity?" The priest asked her.

She showed me a toothy smile. "Aye do." She answered, which made me smile more.

"I announce to you, husband and wife. You may kiss your bride." The priest announced.

I removed the veil from her beautiful face and her lips quickly rushed to mine, wrapping her arms around my neck.

I was shocked at the moment, but kissed back and my hands finds its way to her waist.

**crowd applause**

We let go and smiled at each other. "Guess our family are having a truce now because of us." I whispered to her ear.

She giggled. "Ah've been waiting for this in mah whole life. To marry ye." She said, her arms still wrapped around my neck.

I chuckled and kissed her again.

I can be your Romeo, and you can be my Juliet...
