#28 Break-up

Plot: Hiccup broke up with Merida for some reason.

Merida

"Merida, I'm so sorry..." My boyfriend Hiccup apologized.

I stared at him, confused and sad. "Huh? Why?" I asked.

"I... I wanna end our relationship..." He said, biting his lip.

My eyes turned wide. "Huh!? Why???" I asked again flabbergastedly.

"I don't think our relationship will last longer." He stated.

I badly wanted to sob in front of him, but I held it back. "Get out of mah house..." I said, with broken voice, pointing the door.

He was about to say something, but he knows that I'm already mad, so he just did what he said.

When he's out of my sight. I slammed the door and cried uncontrollably.

Why did he broke up with me!? ...his promise... why did he broke it!? He said he'll love me forever and won't break my heart! But now, what did he do?

Wait... I know he had a reason why. I know he won't just break up with me for no reason. I must ask him.

**next day in our school**

"Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry, Merida." Rapunzel apologized on me sadly after I told her everything. I'm currently in our classroom with my two bestfriends Rapunzel and Jack.

"Nah. It's fine... All aye have to do now's to wait him and ask why." I assured them, not caring if my accent is fading.

"Hiccup should've fight for you two." Jack stated, his feet on his desk.

"Aww really Jack? Like when ye saved Rapunzel against Flynn?" I teased.

Rapunzel's eyes blinked several times and Jack's ears redden. He bit his lip, finding for a response. "Well, that's because she got bullied by them!" He stated defensively.

Rapunzel sighed dreamily, imagining her as a mermaid which got saved by a shark against another shark. "Awesome..."

Jack blushed even more. Jack and Rapunzel honestly liked each other, but they're not confessing... yet... they have Mutual Understanding.

I was about to laugh until the door opened, revealing Hiccup.

He stopped walking when he caught my eyes. He looked down and sat far from me.

Jack followed my gaze. "Oh, Hiccup's already there. Okay, gotta go girls." And with that, he stood up from the chair he's sitting on and went to sit beside Hiccup. They're close.

"Talk to Hiccup, okay?" Rapunzel whispered at me.

"Kay kay fine." I told her and sighed.

**English Class**

I kept stealing glances on Hiccup. Unlike before, he's not reciting at the class anymore.

That makes me sad.

**Later... recess**

I stood up from my sit, and was about to go out the room with Rapunzel, until...

"Uhmm... Mer?" Rapunzel called, making me stop walking away.

"Eh?" I responded.

"We should wait for Jack." She said.

"Ohh..." As I went back inside. Jack's comforting Hiccup.

Jack looked up on us and gave Rapunzel an apologetic look.
