#23 Accident

Plot: Hiccup heard about a bus accident in the news, and soon realized that Merida is one of the victims.

For the third time, Dont. Blame. Me. When. You. Cried. Okay?

Hiccup

"Merida, don't go!" I screamed my lungs out through my girlfriend Merida.

"No, Hiccup, ye cheated on meh! And there's no way Aye won't go!" She screamed back, aggressively packing her things in her bag.

She stood up and slung her bag on her right shoulder. Before she leave the room that we used to share, She realized that I locked the door, and I'm blocking it so she can't leave.

"Get out of the way! Aye need to go back to mah mum's house. Away from ye!" She said, trying to shove me off of the way.

"No!" I can't help myself, so I hugged her. "I love you so much, and I can't let you go!"

I let go of the hug. "If ye love meh, then why did aye saw ye and Astrid on the bed yesterday!? Naked!?" She asked, hot tears falling down on her face.

"Merida, it was a big misunderstanding. Astrid just--" I tried to explain, but she cutted me off.

"Enough telling excuses! Ah'll break up with ye!!" She shouted.

I froze, and my whole body turned numb. I can't face the fact that Merida hates me right now. Oh, of course she hates you. She just saw you and Astrid sleeping together naked on the bed.

The next thing I knew is that she shoved me away from the door, and she left the room without saying a word.

I lowered my head and sobbed quietly. I quickly crawled through the windowseat and saw Merida running away with her things.

I groaned because of my stupidity.

**3 weeks from now**

I woke up and feeling unwell. I yawned and went downstairs after doing my morning routines.

I didn't bother to go school today, because of our breakup.

**door bell rang**

"Whoever you are, come in." I muttered, chin on the table.

I watched as the door opened, seeing the gloomy Jack amd crying Rapunzel.

"Hey, what's wrong, you two? Did someone... I dunno... died, I guess?" I deadpanned.

"Almost." Jack answered, rubbing Rapunzel's back, who's sobbing.

"Okay, seriously, what's going on? Why is Rapunzel crying, like, she just loss a soul?" I asked, poker face.

Jack opened his phone and readed something in the screen. "Well... there was... a bus crashed on the cliff. 24 are injured, but the rest are dead, including the driver." He explained.

"What's the point?" I asked, sternly, while drinking a glass of water.

"Well, Merida is--" He said, but stopped when I spat water from my mouth.

I felt shaking. "Please don't tell me... she's one of the victims there..." I said, hopefully. Yep, I still love her, even now that we're through. Stupid, right??

"Yes, but we don't know if she's one of the injured or one of the... passed out passengers." He muttered.

"SHE DON'T DESERVE TO BE IN ACCIDENT!!! I'M THE ONE WHO NEEDS TO DIE, AND NOT HER!!!" I shouted, pounding my fists down the table with a loud thud.

Rapunzel soon stopped crying. "What happened on both of you, anyway?" She asked.

**after telling them about my stupidity**

Their jaw dropped down the floor with eyes widened. "Why did you made out with Astrid, then!!?" Jack asked.

"Because... when I didn't, Astrid will sabotage Merida by destroying her reputation to other people." I answered.

"Ohh..." they both said in unison.

Jack looked at his phone again. "Oh, Hic, look. All the victims are now in St. Louis Medical Hospital. So that means... Merida is there, too." He said.

I stood up my butt. "I will find her...

And reunite our love if I can."
