#6 How we start dating?

Plot: Hiccup is telling how his and Merida's love story started to their daughter.

**flashback**

"Hey fishbone!" I heard my bully Hans called me. He's the leader of the bullies. Calling me that gives shivers down my spine.

I'm his favorite target when it comes to bullying, since he knew that I'm a worthless nerd.

When I turned around, the next thing I knew is that I got pushed down the ground.

I saw a group of students crowded around us both and they're laughing.

My head hits the concrete floor hard, that made me grunt. I was about to get up, until I felt a heavy foot on my stomach. It's his foot.

"What did I even do to you in the first place?" I growled at him.

He didn't answered, but instead, he dug his foot against my stomach even deeper. "Shut up, fishbone!" He growled back.

I can't breathe, and my vision is getting blurred a bit.

But suddenly... "Leave him alone!" I heard a female Scottish accent voice.

We both turned around and see a red haired girl. Her hair color made me realize that it's my crush Merida.

"Oh, really? And what are you gonna do about it?" Hans asked, crossing his arms.

Merida took a step closer. "Merida, no..." I whispered.

"Well Ahm gonna do this!" She exclaimed and punched him several times.

I can feel Hans' foot undug against my stomach and my vision gets better. Just when I realized that Hans ran away. "Don't come back, ye chicken!!"

I saw Merida's hand stuck out, wanting to help me up. I caught it and stood up. "Thanks..." I smiled shyly.

"No problem." Mer responded.

Then, we're just standing in front of each other, staring at each other.

**ackward silence**

"Uhmm... wanna go out with me sometimes?" I asked her.

Her stern face lighten up. "Sure!" She answered and kissed my cheek.

She skipped off, leaving me standing there in the middle of the hall. I blushed and carressed my cheek that she kissed.

A smile find its way on my face and fistbumped the air. "YESS!!" I whispered.

**end of flashback**

"And that's how me and your momsy's romance started, honeybunch." I told our daughter Margaux. We're currently in her bedroom and she convinced me to tell her how me and Merida's romance started.

"Wow! Momsy is very strong." Marg commented.

"I know, honeybunch. I wish you're as strong as your momsy too." I told her, stroking her brown curly hair.

The door opened, revealing my beautiful wife Merida holding a mug of hot choco. "What did Aye missed?" She asked us.

"Popsy told me about how you and him started dating." Marg answered.

"Hiccup... ye told her about how Aye punched Hans' face, no?" She asked me, raising a brow, with a smirk.

I blushed and smiled. "Sorta..." I muttered.

"Ya pretty look awful that day. Not because of meh, yer dead by now." Mer joked.

"Momsy, Popsy, I'm sleepy." Marg stated before she yawned.

Mer glanced at her and lifted the blanket slightly over her. She kissed her forehead.

"Good night, Momsy. Good night, Popsy." Marg told us sweetly, eyes slightly opened.

"Good night, Honeybunch." Mer responded.

"Don't let the dragons bite." I responded. And because of that, she slept peacefully.

We both left her room and turned off the light before leaving.

**later in our bedroom**

"Don't let the dragons bite? Seriously?" Mer asked me, remembering what I responded before.

"What? I'm still a dragon freak until now." I told her.

She giggled and laid down beside me. "Aye love ye, good night..." she said and she started to dug her face against my chest to sleep.

"Good night, Merida." I whispered and wrapped her around my arms and I can feep my eyes getting heavy.

That's how we started dating...
