#26 Her in a gown

Plot: Their school promenade is soon, and Hiccup expect that Merida won't wear a gown, until the day of their promenade.

"Ugh..." my girlfriend Merida groaned whilst we're both walking at the hallways. "Why do aye have to wear a gown at the prom!?" She asked.

"Because you had to." I answered dumbly.

"Ah'd rather wear bikinis than wearing puffy dresses that makes meh trip down." She huffed.

I blushed, when I imagined her the only girl in the prom, who's wearing bikinis. I shook my thoughts off.

"Oh come on, Mer. I'm sure you look adorable in a dress." I told her.

"Fine. But after the prom, Ah'll change mah clothes into mah usual." She said and I nodded.

Merida

**next day**

Me and Rapunzel are searching for a gown that we'll wear for our prom. Rapunzel actually already chose one. Blue puffy clothes with dark blue ruffles and sequins at it.

"I hope Jack will like this if I wear it." She hoped.

"Oh yas, he will. Jack always loves ye for who ye are." I stated. "What do ye think 'bout... Hiccup?"

"Mer, they had a same attitude. They both love how their girlfriends, which is us, for who we are. Although, Jack is more of a badboy." Rap answered.

"...my gorgeous badboy..." She muttered, smiling.

"Yah yah aye know, but Hiccup's mah bet." I told her.

"Hey, haven't you picked a dress yet?" She asked.

I shook my head. "Well, you're in luck, because I just found a pretty gown that sure do fits you." She told me.

"Aye loathe wearing gowns..." I muttered, crossing my arms as she walked away, getting the gown she saw for me.

After a few minutes, she came back. "What took ye so long, Rap?" I asked.

"Mer, look! Isn't it pretty?" She asked, trying to ask me for my opinion at the dress.

My jaw hung. "A-Aye'll buy it, then." I stated.

**Day of JS Prom In School Gym...**

Hiccup

I'm so nervous!! Jack, my bestfriend, noticed me.

"Hey. What seems to be the problem, Haddock?" He asked, more like teasing. No, the Haddock isn't one of those. Since we're kids, he called me Haddock.

"Nothing except Merida." I told him.

"huh? Merida?" He asked, confused. He looked around. "But she still ain't here yet."

"Jack~" We heard a perky female voice. We turned around and saw Rapunzel in blue gown.

"Wow, you're beautiful, Rap." Jack complimented her.

She giggled. "Thanks. It's paired at your necktie, though." She told him, looking at his dark blue necktie.

He chuckled. "Well then, Can I have a dance with you?" He asked her.

She gasped and quickly kissed him at the nose, since kissing at lips aren't really their thing. "I would like that, Jack. Remind me about it later." she told him.

When they're both gone, I sighed. They're really a cute couple.

I suddenly felt fingers pinched my shoulder, which made me jump up a bit. I turned around and WOW!!!

She looks gorgeous~ She's wearing a long green dress with ruffles at the bodice. And her hair is tied up in bun with her side streak falling down beside the both sides of her face.

"Hayy..." she said shyly.

I just stared at her. Her eyebrow suddenly rose up. "Wha? Now yer mesmerized at how pretty Ah am?" She asked with her normal tone.

I shook my head. "Sorry, it's just... You look good in your dress."

"Yah. It took a freaking hour to cake mah face bah mum." She scoffed and I laughed.

"So... I was wondering if we could... I dunno... Dance with each other later?" I asked shyly.

She blushed and smiled. "Sure."

"Okay, but first, you have to chase me!!" I told her before i started running away.

"Nuh fair!" She shouted and ran after me.

"You can't catch me!" I teased her.

"Of Course Ah can catch ye!!" she defended.

"Oh, you can chase me Miss 'I'm wearing long dress and I hate it.'" I mocked him.

"Get back here, you Mockingbird!" She responded as we ran along with each other around the gym.
