Chapter 2 - Starbucks
It took sixty minutes of Belle's persuasion to finally reach me and I swear I could have died in that hour. I punched myself mentally as my stratagies were no further use and they failed every time. Belle had destroyed my ego as her words inflicted on my brain.
Ten minutes later, I looked at myself, in the mirror and breathed deeply. My heart thumped -against my chest-, and my eyes watered as if a volcano was about to errupt.
"Hurry up!" Belle shouted and I grabbed my gadget and walked out, huffing and thinking of every possible swear word to call her.
She was going to pay for this and I didn't care how painful the punnishment would be. I was going to do something that would take that stupid smile off her face and I was hoping my mission would be sooner rather than later.
As I was getting closer, to the kitchen, the thought of college made me feel: more and more depressed. I was not looking forward to classes today, especially Mr.Bridge's. He carried this distinct smell of egg. And, every time he walked past you. You could smell every detail of what he had for breakfast that morning. I cringed and then resumed walking as if I was trying to get away from him.
I found myself in the kitchen, where Belle was leaning against the cupboards, drinking a cup of water. I wasn't going to get out of college this time. So - there was no point trying.
"That's better!" she said happily.
"You're going to pay for this" I promised and she only smiled.
"Let's go!" she said picking up my satchel and putting it on my shoulder.
I didn't say thank you. I only glared at her, hoping that she would identify the glare as a death threat.

Thirty minutes later we had arrived at Starbucks. I felt an electric buzz of excitement -run through my veins-, as Belle and I reached the cafe door. It had been a while since we had been to Starbucks and just reading the sign made me cry. I couldn't wait to force that hot coffee down my throat. And, and feel the hotness, of the cups, in my hands. All of that sensation felt sublime and surreal. I was never going to forget this moment.
Standing here made me feel more excited and I couldn't wait to walk in. I felt like a fangirl at an Ed Sheeran concert and I wasn't afraid to admit that. Belle twisted the door handle and allowed the door to swing open.
The strong smell of coffee travelled through my tiny nostrils as I felt a shiver electrocuting my back bone. I screamed as I saw the new menu. It consisted of all the new drinks in larger cups and they also had new food menu. My heart was melted.
Belle chuckled as we walked further in. My eyes scanned the seating area as it was mostly empty apart from five males sitting in the corner. They looked strange as their identities were hidden. You couldn't see their eyes nor their skin. As their clothing materials covered their manly features. I shook my head, to get out of my trance, and continued to walk forwards, picking up a tray on the way.
The tray was light and plastic, like the normal kind you get in cafés. I liked the way it felt in my hands and I loved the way how you could hold it freely. Starbucks was about: coffee, breakfast and an amazing tray to deliver the desire of your food cravings, to your stomach. You couldn't go wrong with that.
Furthermore - Starbucks not only served coffee; but breakfasts as well. I felt like I was in heaven. A good kind of heaven, that had everything that I could ever want. I had almost forgotten that Belle existed when the woman asked us what we wanted. I shook my head and got of my second trance.
"Hello, what would you like at Starbucks - today?" the lady asked, in a cheesy tone.
I rolled my eyes and looked at the food menu. The menu was a beautiful shade of green and it had white writing, over the top, that showed off it's delicacy. Belle nudged me and I realised that I was drewling. Wiping the spit away I decided what to have.
When Belle and I had decided, we looked at each other with satisfying smiles. I was proud of my order and so was Belle. A cheese and Ham panini was coming our before we knew it. This was our favourite meal and we never had anything else.
"I'll pay" Belle piped up, getting her purse out of her bag.
"Too right, you will" I snapped. She chuckled, handing the lady the right money.
Once Belle had paid the lady, we took our coffee's and found ourselves a small -square-, table.
I sat down getting comftable and got excited as our food was about to be brought over. Even though I started pretty rough this morning, starbucks had me in a better mood. My coffee touched my lips. And, I jumped because it was so hot.
I was the disturbed as the lady bought the painis over and smiled at us.
"Enjoy" she said and turned away.
I had almost forgotten that the five lads were there; but when I saw one of them get up. The rest followed. Good fucking ridance, they freaked me out!
I picked up my Cheese and Ham panini and smiled, like a kid when they had lollipops in their hands.
Like always, I observed my food when it was about to be eaten. The smell of melted cheese made my taste buds go crazy. And, they made my eyes water; with delight. I took a bite of it and felt the light excess, of ham, being forced down my throat. I was melting inside my own soul and it was perfection.
"When's Max coming?" I asked, looking up from my panini and meeting Belle's eyes.
"Ten minutes" she replied and I nodded, letting the situation drop. Max was always late.
