It's Breanna Moore's junior year and she has declared that enough is enough. Shes had enough of being mistreated and misunderstood by the whole of Bayside High, students and staff. No longer will she stand to be the little 'Miss Nerd Herd', but she...
Hearing the tune of my alarm clock blur woke me from my slumber. I got up from my bed and lugged over into my bathroom to start my regular morning tasks, from my shower to putting lotion on my body and brushing my teeth. I was now getting dressed in the outfit Taylor had chosen days before today.

I went over to my beauty center putting on a simple coat of makeup for the day that wasn't too much and after doing so I got small makeup bag filling it with emergency girly things to put it in my gym bag for practice after school. Once my gym bag was set I grabbed my school bag along with my keys and phone, turned off my light, grabbed all my things together, and headed downstairs as I heard Brooke honk her horn, signifying she was out front.
"Woah there hot stuff."
Brooke said as I got into the car greeting her. I laughed at her somewhat form of a compliment giving her a playful wink as she started the route towards school. It took about five minutes before we were in the parking lot of Bayside and making our way into the gym. In the gym Brooke waited for me as I made my way to the upper level where the coach's office was. There I met with the football coach, cheer coach, and some guy around our age. The guy that sat next to the football coach so happened to Chase Bradford the 'Mr. Popular' of Bayside. I never really knew Chase closely because we were obviously way too different to clash, but I'd always heard the cliche rumors of him being a player, getting any girl he wanted, and all the crap you hear about a very popular guy. But in all honesty he seemed like a pretty ok guy from what I saw. Chase was very good at multiple sports, he had good grades, and he was nice to everyone I saw him encounter. Right as I took my seat the two coaches came and stood in front greeting the both of us.
"Hi sweetheart I'm Coach Hon, the head football coach and gym teacher. Standing beside me is Coach Gram the head cheer coach and Special needs teacher. We are glad to welcome you to this years Football and Cheer program."
The elderly guy in gym teacher clothing said to me as the blonde woman beside him waved my way.
"Since the two of you weren't here doing our general assembly we had no choice but to assign you two together and we've also sent all the parent packages home to your parents, make sure you get those back to us as soon as possible."
Coach Hon started explaining as Coach Gram handed us both a sheet of paper of the game schedule.
"We also have your gear ready to give to you."
Coach Gram stepped in as she handed me a gym duffle bag in the colors of our school along with my named stitched into it. Inside the bag was a uniform, cheer shoes, and cheer jacket (which also had my name stitched into it) that was like one of those Nike fleece jackets.

"There isn't really much we need to go over, the rest is mostly for your parents, but other than we'd like to include that this year team bonding will be taken more seriously and that practice is now right after school. So Chase you better been on the football field by 3:54."
"Same for you Breanna I better see you in this gym by 3:54."
The two coaches smiled at us before dismissing us to get on with the school day. I stood from my seat shaking Coach Gram's hand and waving a goodbye to Coach Hon before stepping out of the office with the now three bags that I had. Emerging from the office I could see Brooke ,who was now joined by Taylor, on the lower level sitting on the bleachers.
"There's my new little cheerleader."
Taylor joked when I got to the lower level to where they were seated.
"Well your 'little cheerleader' wants to put this bag away."
I said lifting the new cheer bag I'd just received moments ago. Brooke laughed before she took the bag from me slinging it over her shoulder.
"This bag here is what we like to call the game bag, you don't need to use it for practices just games. So keep it packed at all times and ready to go, for now we'll but this baby in the trunk of my car."

The first bell had rung signaling the new school year had begun. After Brooke, Taylor, and I put my new cheer bag in Brooke's car we went into the main building to get our schedules. On my schedule I had:
[ Bayside High : Fall Semester ] Period One — AP French / K. Hale Period Two — AP U.S. History / T. Lowell Period Three — AP Calculus / H. Vic Period Four — Level 11 Team Sports / D. Hon
I was pleased with my classes this year and was ready to work hard in them. Brooke and Taylor had been looking at their own schedules and comparing classes.
"I'm not even going to glance at yours Bre, you probably got all APs and the only class we would have together is lunch."
Taylor said causing Brooke to laugh. I playfully hit her arm before taking her schedule and looking it over.
"Well we have team sports together, but next semester we have International Studies together. "
Both Brooke and Taylor gave me that look.
"Plus! We're all in DECA, Red Cross, FCA, and I am joining that little sorority/sisters club too! So you don't have room to speak."
I quickly added before she could say anything else. Taylor just laughed and soon Brooke and I joined in, lowkey we didn't have a clue about what we were laughing about. But that short moment of ours was cut short when Lauren Rhodes approached with her two little irrelevant followers behind her as usual. I could see Brooke roll her eyes and Taylor just stood in her place with her hand on her hip, the sass this girl can give just by action.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't little Miss Nerd Herd-"
Lauren started off, but was cut off by Taylor, who was just not having any type of bull today.
"Bre let's go I can't be around bullsh*t too long, you know I'm allergic to it. Also you know how Brooke is high key afraid of catching Hoe."
Taylor flipped her hair over her shoulder as we walked away from Lauren and her crew, who'd been paused in the same spot we left them with shocked written across all their faces. I let out a small giggle, oh how I love Taylor.
Lauren Rhodes was the sole reason of the life being a total hell. I would've just another loner nerd who nobody paid attention to, but no Lauren Rhodes wanted everyone to know each flaw I had. I used to envy the way she looked so perfect and got any guy she wanted, but she was just like any other cliché mean girl from the movies. My life isn't a movie so I'm not going to let some childish chick I use to call my 'friend' make into one, sorry but it's 2k16 so grow up.
