I watched from the sideline as the football players went wild as the game came to and end. We had just won and the student section was going crazy, while us cheerleaders smiled as we cheered for the boys. It was a great way to open up the season and Coach Hon was very pleased with the boys.

"Bre come on, we can go ahead and leave."

Brooke took my hand gently tugging me away after the boys left the field. Even the people in the stands were leaving, so I followed alongside Brooke and the other cheerleaders.

"So Bre, how was cheering at your first game?"

Carly asked as we all entered the locker room.

"I'm not gone lie I was nervous, but it quickly became fun."

I answered her truthfully as I took my hair out of it's ponytail to brush it out and put it back up. I changed out of my uniform, putting the clothes I had on during school back on. I was done rather quickly, so I waited for Brooke who was struggling to find her shorts. She soon found them under her bag and slipped them on.

"Girl come on we gotta bounce, Marco is probably worried about me."

I laughed at her as she gave herself a quick once over in the mirror before speed walking out. I followed after her, but I said goodbye to the rest of the squad before leaving. Outside of the locker room Brooke was already standing by Marco, chatting flirtatiously. I approached the pair, taking the opportunity to introduce myself.

"Hi, I'm Breanna, but call me Bre."

I held out my hand for him to shake, which he did smiling at me.

"I've finally got the pleasure to meet Ms. Breanna Moore."

I raised my brow at Marco not quite sure to how he already knew my last name, seeing this was the first time we've met.

"Brooke talks about you all the time and Bradford can't shut his mouth about you."

My heart skipped a beat a little at hearing him state that. Did Chase really talk about me to his guy friends?

"All good things I hope."

I joked. The three of us chatted some more as we waited for the rest of the players and cheerleaders who were joining us for dinner to come out. I left to two love birds alone when I spotted Chase coming out of the locker room. For just winning the first game of the season, he looked pissed.

"Hey."

I softly said, touching his arm to get his attention. Once he turned his head towards me his face went from sporting a deep frown to a small smile.

"Hey you."

He wrapped both arms around me, bringing me in for a hug. Quickly retuning the hug, I pulled away after a second, but stayed in his arms. Looking up at him I could tell something was bothering him.

"What's up? Is it your parents?"

I asked searching his face for an answer, but my question was answered when Luke trotted out of the locker room doors. The dude always had it in for me. From talking crap about me to being rude to me. I never understood why he decided to be an a**hole towards me, but it's been like this since we started highschool.

"Can we get out of here? I'm starving."

I turned my attention back to Chase, knowing he only wanted to avoid the conversation.

"Yeah of course. Brooke let's go."

Brooke turned around to face me gave me that look, a look that told me she was on the zone. So I threw my keys to her.

"Meet you at the restaurant and don't mess up my baby."

I warned her then I took Chase's hand and together we walked out towards his car.

"So are you going to tell me what's really up or what?"

I asked as we approached his truck. He took my bags, putting them in the backseat.

"Nope, I'm going to acknowledge the fact that I have a beautiful girl in my company all alone and cherish that."

Ok Dr. Smooth I'll let that slide, but this ain't over. I laughed at him as he hiked me up the top of his hood and stood between my legs. We stood there for awhile staring at each other not saying a word, but our silence was quickly interrupted by the honking of a car horn.

"Aye Bradford you coming?"

I knew from the voice it was a**hole Luke so I didn't even waste my time looking back. I also knew Taylor was in the car with him so I definitely wasn't looking back.

"Let's go before anyone else disturbs the peace."

Chase joked as he got me down from the hood and guided me into the car. The whole time he ignored both Luke and Taylor while he got in himself.

"Time for some In&Out!"

Nodding my head I watched as Chase took my hand in his and pulled out of the student parking lot, heading over to In&Out. Oh man was I falling for this dude?
