When Friday morning rolled around I woke up before my alarm. Excitement was rushing through my veins and I couldn't wait for the day to start.
With a smile on my face I grabbed my shower caddy along with my speaker to take a shower.
My shower was more of a concert than a shower, but when Spotify decided to kill my vibe entirely when an ad just interrupted my concert I finally actually washed my body and got out. Stepping out of my bathroom I was greeted by a smirking Brooke laying on my bed.

"I see someone is in a good mood."

She looked at me with what I call her perv face, wiggling her eyebrows.

"Whatever you're thinking is not going to happen. It's just a date."

"Oh don't pretend to be all calm about it, you're going on a date with Chase Bradford. You know most girls usually ask him on dates, it's never the other way around."

I smiled hearing that statement feeling a tiny bit special. Was I really the only he's asked out on a date formally.

"Well enough on me, I've seen you eyeing Mr. Italiano."

Mr. Italiano was what I called Marco Rossi, a new student who had just moved from Italy and also the dude that Brooke has been crushing mad hard on. I'm not going to lie he was pretty darn attractive and his personality matched his looks.

"Uh you've got a date today and your face needs to be beat, so go put on your little robe and let me do my magic."

I laughed at seeing her turn a light shade of red as I walked back into my bathroom to lotion up and get ready for Brooke to do her magic.

thirty minutes later

"Okay hoe come on out, I wanna get this on the snap."

Laughing I walk out of my bathroom in the outfit both Brooke and I came together to pick out.

"Yas girl! You better slay!"

"Yas girl! You better slay!"

Brooke had her phone out pointed at me, being all loud and crazy.

"Y'all already know that's my bestie."

She ended the snap by sticking out her tongue and smacking her lips.
Once it was posted to her story we both grabbed our things going downstairs laughing at whatever.

"Could you two please keep it down? You're louder than the newborns a the hospital."

My smile quickly vanished seeing my mom at the bottom of the stairs staring up at Brooke and I. Shouldn't she be at work or something, why she always home all of a sudden.

"Okay."

Brooke nudged me roughly.

"Be respectful Bre!"

I tried to resist the urge to roll my eyes and keep my cool, but just being the same room as her made my boil.

"Is that all you wanted to say? If so, Brooke, we should get going."

I walked passed her without saying another word towards my car.

"Sorry Mrs. P I didn't mean to be so loud. You have a good day!"

I could hear Brooke behind me. I knew she's only doing it to keep up a good image in front of my mom, but honestly why would anyone care what she thinks when all she cares about is herself.

— at the end of the school day —

Could today get any worse? I came to school thinking it'll be a good day, but it was the complete opposite. Brooke and Taylor have been at each other all day, Lauren has been all over my ass any chance she got, but mainly Chase has been ignoring me at all cost.
He would just brush pass me like it was nothing and act like I didn't exist. Was this really a big joke? Or did I miss something?
I shook my head putting all my thing into my locker closing it shut.

"It isn't the end of the day yet, why are you all packed up like your going home?"

Chase laughed nervously walking up to my locker where I stood.
I continued to gather my things, I didn't feel like talking to anyone right now, especially ones who wanted to play games.
Once I had all my stuff together and turned my heel walking out of school straight to my car.
