Chapter Nine
Ariella's POV
I bit my lip as the sleek black limo pulled out infront of a standard-looking studio. It was quite large, yet looked almost normal, I noticed as I stepped out of the car. I stood and glanced around for a moment before felt a hand gently push me forward. "C'mon love; some people have to get out of the car, too." Zayn.
I gave him a sheepish smile and side-stepped out of the way, running a hand through my curly hair. It was kinda weird; this was going to be the band's life for now on. And honestly, I was scared. We've never done a real interview with a magazine before.. Blinking my chocolate brown eyes, I stepped forward towards the door with everyone a few feet behind me. I opened the door and stepped into the lobby, smiling at a lady who came to greet them immediately.
"Hello, you must be Ariella Edyvean, right?" she asked, wasting no time as I nodded.
"That would be me," I stated, watching as her face lit up.
"Ah! It's so nice to meet you. I'm Juliet, and editor for BOP magazine. And you-" she added, turning her gaze to the people behind me, "must be Alison, Audrey, Isabelle, and Kathryn. And the ever handsome One Direction."
When they nodded, Juliet's smile grew even bigger. As if it weren't possible. "Brilliant! Follow me and we'll get a few snapshots for the cover." With her clipboard in hand, she started heading down a hallway. Quite quickly, if I might add. Following the click of her heels, I followed after her, falling a step behind every click.
"This girl should enter a marathon or something," I heard Louis whisper, and I couldn't help but smile in slight amusement.
Finally, we in a rather big room full of lights and a white screen. It was plain and kinda boring, but there were plenty of colorful props I was guessing would be used.
A few men were standing near the cameras, and one, who seemed to be in charge of the operation, gave everyone a warm smile. "Hello ladies, gentlemen," he greeted us in a deep, Australian accent. His brown eyes seemed to be sparkling with friendliness behind his round glasses as he held out his arms. "Welcome to the photo room. I'm Edward Schnizer, but call me what you will. I'll be your photographer today."
Juliet didn't let the man say anymore before turning to look at us. "We'll do a shot with just Legally Young, then One Direction, all of you together, then each of the girls seperately. And we need this done in two hours, so hop to it!" That girl seemed either really eager to get the show on the road, or eager to have us leave..
Before I knew it, I was watching Alison in front of the cameras. We were told we were aloud to use any prop we wanted, and so she naturally used- you guessed it- Niall.
Or maybe you didn't guess that. It took quite a bit of convincing, but since I had the 'gift' of convincing, I helped them see the light of letting Niall Horan be her 'prop.'
With Ali being Ali, she had Niall stand there and kept giving him flirty glances, smiling and fluttering her eyelashes. At one point, while she had her back turned, Niall grabbed her from behind and picked her up bridal style. I watched as Edward snapped a picture of Niall grinning down at the girl and Ali with her head turned towards the camera, her eyes bright with amusement and her mouth open a bit in laughter. Somehow, I knew that was going to be the picture for Alison's personal article in the magazine.
Soon, the other girls went as well. All the while, I chatted with Zayn or watched the girls with him. When it was my turn, I stood at the camera and pretty much looked innocent. That is what the youngsters- the name we call our fans- know me as; the innocent one. I grinned at the camera, but through most of it, the lads were doing strange things in the background, which caused me to laugh while my picture was being taken.
