Chapter Nineteen
Isabelle's POV
Maria Jackson; hotty-with-a-model's-body blonde haired bimbo with seemingly translucent terquoise colored eyes and a perfect smile. High cheek bones, curves in all the right places, flawless features, amazing blonde hair.. In other words, every man's freaking dream.
She seems to have everything. A really hot Australian model boyfriend with what I swear to be a ten-pack, loads of money she got from acting in major films, and the largest closet I have ever seen in my life. Seriously, I think she has an elevator in that thing. Every rose has it's thorn, however.
This girl was as dumb as a brick. Actually, she's dumber. I know she deffinately didn't get all the men she's had with her brains, because she lacks in that area. Being bored, I watched one of her interviews on the Ellen show, and every joke Ellen threw out there, Maria took it seriously.
"So you seemed to have gotten a bit paler since I last saw you on the show," Ellen had pipped up, her voice clearly teasing. That girl's tan was so dark, I didn't think I would be able to see her in the dark.
"Oh my gosh," Maria immediately squeaked in that annoying little voice of hers, her eyes full of real terror as she tried to cover up her arms with her hands and tried to hide her darkened face. "Are you serious? I knew I should've spent an extra hour tanning! Teresa is so fired!" The blonde said this all on live TV. Ellen was staring at the girl with a slight frown and an almost confused look on her face. Everything had become silent except for Maria, who was muttering under her breath.
Let's just say after that one joke, The Ellen Show switched to comercial, and I knew Ellen was told not to tease the poor girl anymore. That was the last time Maria Jackson was ever on that show.
For some reason, she just always seemed to get on my nerves. Don't know why; maybe because she has pretty much everything in the world and doesn't know what two plus two is. Sorry for the ranting. I just had to get that all out of my system.
Now that Maria was here, fluttering her long, make-up'd eyelashes at Harry and running her petite hands up and down his arm lightly, I felt something rise in me. Was I.. Jealous? No, I couldn't possibly be jealous. I didn't like Harry. Nope, not me. Never in my lifetime.
So why did I feel that way?
I shook my head slightly from side to side as I forced a obviously fake smile on my face as I listened in to Harry and Maria's conversation. "Hello, Maria," Harry replied politely, his eyes flickering over her figure. Is it bad that that made my jealousy grow even larger?
"It's been way too long!" she squealed, wrapping her arms around him in a tight hug. Harry, looking a bit reluctant, locked his arms around her and sent her a small smile as her head dug into his chest.
"Yes, it has," he chuckled lightly as she pulled away. He kept his arms gently on her shoulders, looking her over again. It was hard for him not to stare, I could tell, and it had an effect on the men around us, too. They had turned their drunk gazes to the girl, some whistling, some just staring with wide eyes and dropped jaws.
Maria didn't seem to notice through as her big blue eyes kept to Hazza's green ones. "I missed you so much! I never could get you off my mind!" Excuse me while I barf.
Harry let out another light chuckle as he nodded his head, moving his hands from her shoulders and stuffing them in his pocket. "I missed seeing you, too. How has everything been going for you?"
As they started talking, I zoned out, feeling a bit angry. No, alot angry. I ran a hand through my straightened blonde hair, feeling suddenly self-concious with her around. Again.. Why did she have to be in the same club on the same night I decide to come?
