Chapter Ten

Kathryn's POV

I ran a hand through my hair as we exited People's magazine building. Man, that was completely exausting. And kinda.. Awkward. Robert really wanted some dish on us and the boys. For example, asking us which of the guys we liked.

"Um.." I had trailed off, feeling my cheeks burn.

"I like Niall," Alison put out there, shrugging her shoulders. I looked at Ali slight alarm and surprise in my gaze, and I saw her giggle lightly when Robert started writing things furiously onto the paper. "As a friend."

Robert suddenly stopped and gazed up at the blonde with a cocked eyebrow and an almost disappointed look. Audrey grinned widely and ran a hand through her dirty blonde hair. "Well, I can tell you I don't love Louis Tomlinson that well; he really-"

"Is sweet," Ariella cut in, elbowing Audrey in the ribs hard. Audrey pouted and rubbed where she'd been hit, but Ari just gave the girl an innocent smile. "No, she doesn't love Louis. But she's become pretty good friends with him since the tour started."

I watched as Audrey started to say something, but Isabelle shot her a look and opened her mouth. "I can say I understand how Harry's known as the 'flirty one.'"

"Ah, so Harry's been flirting with you, I see?" Robert suggested, starting to write down something.

"Yeah; actually, he flirts with any girl he sees," Isabelle put in, giving the man a smile.

Robert stopped writing and looked back up at us. All we did was grin.

I do have to say that was pretty fun, though I knew our manager wouldn't approve of all the things we lead poor Robert into believing. Though I'm the responsible, unexpected one, I didn't feel the need to stop them.

Walking towards the limo, we spotted a few clumps of fans, screaming and waving and holding out posters. Maybe.. Two hundred? I felt my eyes widened as I looked at them. A couple security guards were holding them back, and I suddenly wondered why I hadn't heard their screaming from inside the building. These youngsters were loud.

I put a grin on my face and waved at them, watching as a few of them jumped up and down with the joy of seeing the band. Catching Ariella's eye, I saw her shake her head slightly and turn to another young fan to sign her shirt. One of our security guards, Anthony, led us towards our car. On the way, I signed a few posters and even a couple of arms and faces before I was shuffled into the sleek black limo. I settled into the seat and heard a little "Wow," exit Ali's mouth.

I nodded my head, my eyes bright. It was amazing to realize that this was our life now.. That kind of stuff was always going to happen to us now. I felt my grin broaden a bit at the thought, leaning back against the seat and letting out a soft sigh.

"That was new."

Ariella's POV

I hummed a song to myself as the limo neared the tour bus, lying my head against the side of the window and staring out of it. Right now, I was dead tired, and it showed. My normal bright eyes were a bit dull with exaustion and the energy I usually had seemed to have been seeped out of me. This was the first time we'd done interviews, and it really took alot out of you.

Stiffling a yawn, I crinkled my nose and let out a little groan. "How much longer?"

Kathryn peered over at me and shrugged her shoulders. "Thirty minutes.. Maybe an hour."

"But I have to pee!" Alison whined, her pale blue eyes glancing over everyone. Then, she lied her head back and let out a sigh. "I really shouldn't have drank three bottles of water.."

Isabelle raised an eyebrow in slight curiousity and amusement at her blonde friend. "You're so lucky your pretty," she teased lightly, running a hand through the girl's hair in a playful way and sticking her tounge out.

I let out a little, weak chuckle, leaning my cheek against the window. "Am I the only one about to pass out?" I asked, noticing the others didn't seem as sleepy.

Audrey just shook her head, placing a hand over her mouth as she let out a soft yawn. "No, you're not the only one. Those interviewers really wore me out."

"Same," Kathryn agreed, followed by a nod from the other girls.

"I think it had to do with the fact we only got six hours of sleep last night," Alison pipped in, looking along the girls.

"I got eight," Isabelle raised her hand in a slightly playful way, smirking a bit.

I let out a little giggle. "You can blame Harry for that."

"Yeah, who told Harry to get me up anyway? I mean, whoever did-"

"Me!" Alison stated, glancing over at Isabelle. Is looked at Ali with an I'm-not-surprised-look.

"Ali, why?"

"Well, he finished getting ready in less than twenty minutes, and I was busy with Kathryn's hair so I told him to go get you up."

Isabelle rolled her eyes. "Why didn't you ask one of the other lads? You know, like someone who would actually wake me up on time!"

Alison shrugged. "There wasn't anyone else around."

Isabelle opened her mouth to say something but seemed to change her mind. "Alison, next time, ask anyone but him. That lad is way too cheeky in the morning."

I giggled slightly and changed my position in my seat, turning so I could lie down comfortably without the belt buckle getting in my way. I rested my head in Audrey's lap and smiled up at her. Audrey let out a little 'aww' and pat my cheek gently. "Is poor Ari tired?"

"Yes," I murmured, scrunching up my nose as she rolled her eyes in amusement. "And I need a pillow."

"That's what I live for," Audrey replied, lying her head back against the seat and closing her hazel eyes.

I closed my dark brown ones and let out a long, slow breath before slipping out of reality.

Isabelle's POV

"Isabelle!"

I jumped up and nearly screamed at the sudden loud voice that rang in my ears. I glanced to where the noise came from only to find myself face to face with the cheeky one.

Harry freaking Styles.

Ugh, that lad..

Rolling my eyes, I realized we were back at the tour bus. I ignored his little chuckle. "Waking you up is too much fun."

"Go away, Styles," I muttered, starting to unbuckle myself.

"Shh, Ari's still sleeping," he whispered, putting a finger to his lips and glancing at the girl. I followed his gaze and saw an innocent-looking Ariella still asleep on an awake Audrey's lap. She was looking down at Ariella and trying to decide whether she should wake the girl up or not.

Before she could make a decision, however, the door on the other side of the limo opened and revealed Zayn Malik. He glanced down at the girl and chuckled lowly, cocking an eyebrow at Audrey.

"I could use a little help," Audrey admitted in a quiet voice, earning a little nod from Zayn. Together, they unbuckled the girl without waking her up- she was quite a heavy sleeper. Zayn picked the brunette up bridal style, lying her head against his chest and letting her arms hang limp, before heading into the tour bus.

"Isn't that sweet?" Harry cooed once they had disappeared, and I just frowned lightly.

"I'm too tired to deal with you right now," I muttered, glancing over his face a moment. He was smirking lightly, but looked almost as tired as I did.

The curly haired lad shrugged his shoulders gently. "Sorry, love. I guess I'll leave you in the car next time."

Again- I swear to God my eyes are going to get stuck- I rolled my eyes. "Fine," I muttered, starting towards the tour bus with him a few steps behind me. I walked past a snoozing Louis on the couch and opened my bunkroom door.

"Goodnight, Is," Harry yawned, opening his bunkroom door at the same time.

Standing there for a moment, I turned to look at him and nodded before replying. "Goodnight."
