Chapter Sixteen

Kathryn's POV

Watching the two trouble makers hug, I felt like a freaking boss. This might've been the first time in the last week they hadn't tried to kill each other. Their pranking had been getting more and more frequent. Hopefully, this would be the last one. But the two were very unpredictable..

Suddenly, I felt a pair of strong arms wrap around my shoulders. Glancing up, I saw Liam's face smiling down at me and gave him a small smile back. For the past six months, Li and I had become close friends. So close that youngsters and directioners gave us a title: Mommy Kathryn and Daddy Direction.

Because, literally, we were both like an old married couple. Now that I thought about it, I almost let out a few laughs. Our fans were pretty crazy about this whole relationship stuff. Maybe a bit strange, but creative all the same.

The sound of someone shifting from the couch directed my attention towards Audrey and Louis yet again. Audrey was standing up, letting out a little yawn and stretching before quickly closing her mouth as a small glob of pie fell down her cheek and close to her lips. If there was one thing the girl hated, it was key lime pie. "Well, I think I'd better take a shower and get this stuff out of my hair."

Louis, grinning, stood up as well and ruffled his hair. "Yeah, green isn't your color," he sassily replied in a teasing manner, earning an eyeroll from the dirty blonde.

"You're pretty funny, Tomlinson," she stated, sticking her tounge out at him as she wiped her face with the sleeve of her shirt. And with that, giving a little wave, she started out of the room.

It wasn't until she left that Louis finally turned his blue-green eyes back to us and shot us a sheepish smile. Liam's voice rang in the air; "Since you aren't busy, Lou, you can clean up you and Audrey's little prank."

Louis's eyes suddenly widened. "But Li-"

"No buts," Liam intervined with a slightly stern voice.

Louis stuck out his bottom lip in pout. "Why can't you do it?" he complained, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Cause I promised Kathryn I'd go grab a bite of breakfast," Liam gave as a simple excuse, innocently shrugging his shoulders and shooting the lad a grin.

The boy's eyes flickered to me a moment, clearly unhappy about this arangement. Muttering to himself, he started towards Zayn's bedroom. "Always Kathryn," was all I understood before Liam turned and stepped towards the door with my at his side.

"So, love, where did you want to eat?" he asked me, opening the door and gesturing for me to walk out. Smiling at how much of a gentleman he was, I walked out the door before replying.

"Eh, doesn't matter. IHOP, Huddle House, McDonalds.." she started listing places off the top my head until Liam stopped me with a little chuckle.

"Guess we're winging it," he playfully said, and I nodded my head.

Stopping at the elevator, I pressed the down button before saying anything more. "You don't think Audrey and Louis are going to stop pranking, do you?"

"You've read my mind."

Isabelle's POV

Why did I ask Harry to come with me? I honestly didn't know. But I knew one thing; I wasn't going another walk with the cheeky lad. Ever.

Since we had walked out of the hotel, he had been finding any excuse to touch me. For example, someone passed by me. Nowhere close to me. And Harry had grabbed my arm gently and pulled me close to him so 'he wouldn't bump into me.' Yeah, dumbest thing he's said all day.
