Chapter Twenty-Seven
Audrey's POV
I stepped into the tight skinny jeans, letting out a soft breath as I looked up at the full view mirror. I ran my hand down my cute shirt, tucking in a bit of my tank top sticking out. My eyes led from my outfit up to my hair. My newly dyed hair.
It was no longer a discusting seaweed green; it now looked like a light brown color with blonde streaks. The green color was still visible, but only if you looked really hard. Hopefully the cameras wouldn't capture it. Liam tried to talk me out of buying the streaks, but I ended up winning after threatening to pull a prank on him. The guys knew not to mess with me. All the guys except Louis.
That boy was seriously getting on my nerves. I don't know how much longer I can stand him! He'd gone way to far by causing me to dye my hair green! Ugh, he made me so-
Suddenly, I heard the door of the tour bus open. I turned my head around, but thinking it was just one of the girls, I didn't think much of it. I turned back around, walking forward and glancing at myself in the vanity mirror. No worrying about Louis right now; I had to finish getting ready. Our interview was today, and everyone was still waiting on me to get ready.
I unzipped the make-up bag and began rummaging through it when I heard a small knock on the open door. Glancing up, I heard, "Alison and Isabelle sent me in here to get you. You alright?" Louis Tomlinson. Why am I not surprised?
Now glaring, I look at him through the mirror. "I'm fine," I muttered, moving my head so I was looking back in the make-up bag. Even as I tried to stay interested in finding a shade of eyeshadow, Lou's presence was really causing my mind to go crazy.
I looked back in the mirror to see that the lad was looking everywhere but at me. His hands were lying in his signiture red pants pockets, and his hair looked flawless thanks to Alison. He glanced at me after a few seconds, sending me a playful half-grin and throwing his head back. "Girls take way to long to get ready!" he groaned in an almost playful maner, running his hands through his hair. Ali was going to kill him for that.
In responce, I glared at him. I was still angry about the whole green hair thing, but can you really blame me? Anyone in my position would be pissed. "Sorry if I want to look good," I mumbled, turning my head to look at my make-up bag.
"What else could you possibly do to yourself?" he asked, genuinely curious as I spotted his gaze dart to the bag on the vanity. Sighing heavily, I glanced up into the mirror to look at him again. He still hadn't moved from his postition by the door, yet his eyes had once again found mine.
I lifted the bag from the vanity and shook it lightly, cocking my hip out a bit. "Make-up," was all I stated. "Just go tell the others I'll be out in a bit." By now, I had turned my full attention on the task at hand. Sense I was wearing something cute yet casual, I didn't need a whole lot. Maybe just a bit of eyeliner and mascara...
Aha! I thought, finally finding the stick of eyeliner. Uncapping it, I set the bag down and looked up at the mirror. I raised my hand up to apply it when suddenly I heard light footsteps walking towards me. There was something that made me freeze; my hand was still in position to swipe some on, my eyes still gazing at myself.
The feel of puffs of warm breath on my neck caused goosebumps to rise on my skin. Slowly, my eyes locked onto Louis, who was close behind me. His colonge was strong behind me, and I found myself almost drifting off in the smell. The front of his body brushed against my back, and he was looking at the left side of my face as if he were studying me. We stood there for what seemed like forever or maybe just a few seconds. I couldn't tell the difference.
