Chapter Twenty-Three

Audrey's POV

Arriving back to the tour bus, I let out a soft breath. My eyes gave a sideways glance at Louis, who was sitting all the way on the other end in the large limo. His blue eyes were staring blankly out the window, completely quiet. This is how he had been the entire ride, and it was honestly bothering me. I don't know why, but when he was silent like that, it made me almost curious...

Shaking my head, I let out a louder breath and rested my arms against the side of the window, lying my head on my arms. My legs curled up comfortably beside me as my eyes caught each car we passed. I could feel my Lifesavers secure in my pocket, and the plan again sprung up into my head.

A year ago, I had gone into the bathroom to take a harmless shower. I was exausted that night, and I didn't notice as I turned the nob on hot and heard the water fall onto me that the water was actually a dark green color. I didn't notice that until I had stepped out of the shower and taken a good look at myself in the mirror over the sink.

My hair, which had previously been a dirty blonde, was now a light green color. I later found out that night that my older brother had put alot of green Lifesavers in the shower head, which resulted in the dark green water. Luckily for me, the green washed out after a couple of days.

But unluckily for Louis, he won't be able to get the 'Lifesaver dye' out of his hair before One Direction's interview tomorrow. I couldn't help the smirk that snuck onto my face as I imagined Louis showing up to an interview with a truely strange hair color. And there's nothing he could do about it.

A giggle escaped my mouth when I imagine him, with purple-dyed hair, walking into the studio of Jimmy Kimmel. I can see the fans' surprised faces and the flash of their cameras, and their laughter filling the air... God, this was going to be one of the best pranks I've ever pulled.

"What are you laughing about?" The sound of the familiar British-accented voice Louis pulled me back into reality. My head turned to look at the boy, who had his head rested on his hand and tilted towards me. His blue eyes had a sense of curiousity in them, his eyebrows knitted together in confusion.

I shrugged my shoulders in the most innocent way possible. "Nothing," I answered, sending him a smile that was way too sweet to be mine. Louis noticed that as well, his eyes brows raising in an 'I don't believe you' montion.

"Yeah, nothing my ass," he replied, watching me carefully.

Again, I just shrugged my shoulders. "Why don't you believe me, Boo Bear?" I cooed in a teasing way, knowing that a look of challenge had sprung into my eyes. Louis gave me a look and stuck his tounge out, glancing back out the window.

"Audrey..."

"Hm?" I answered, my eyes slightly narrowing. Normally, he would say something witty or insulting towards her, but not this time. A look of pure curiousity covered up the challenge in my eyes, my head cocked slightly to the side as it rested on my arms.

Louis stole a glance at me and just shook his head, letting out a sigh. He seemed frustrated, like he wanted to say something but didn't want to at the same time. Finally, he just shook his head. "Nothing," he said, repeating what I had just a moment ago. Again, his eyes turned towards the window.

My curiousity only grew, but there was nothing to say as I felt the limo slow to a stop. I straightened up, slipping out of my seatbelt and stepping out of the car before the driver could even step out of the driver's seat. I had buisness to take care of.

The curiousity I had felt had disappeared and was filled with excitement and determination. This prank was going to be payback for the little glue-in-my-chair prank he pulled on me a few days ago. And right in front of Simon, too! My face felt heated as I thought about the memory.
