Chapter Twenty

Ariella's POV

"No, Louis," I muttered, a slight frown placed upon my features. My arms were crossed over my chest as I stared at the troublemaker. No way was I doing this.

"Please Ari? For meee?" he pleaded, dragging out the last word. He gave me his best puppy dog eyes, his bottom lip sticking out in a slight pout. Blinking a few times, he held my gaze.

Finally, I sighed. Darn, he was a freaking pro at that.. "Fine. But I swear, Lou, if you tell her it was me-"

I didn't get to finish my statement, for Louis had suddenly broke out into a large grin and threw his arms around me. "Thanks Ariella! You're the best!"

I rolled my eyes in slight amusement, unable to hold in a few giggles. "You're just lucky you have killer puppy eyes," I teased lightly, my brown eyes flickering across the items he had laid out on my bed. Runny glue, a salt shaker full of sea salt, and red food coloring. This couldn't be good..

"So what is it you want me to do exactly?" I asked, curiously looking at the items one at a time. It was only few minutes ago that I was pulled out from the living room by the eager lad. Harry and Isabelle had left an hour ago, and it was getting pretty boring. That's probably why Louis had decided to pull a few pranks on Audrey. But not wanting her to get suspicious, he wanted me to do it for him. Of course, I argued with him about it for quite a while. I didn't want to get involved in their little prank war thing. However, being the kind of person that can't pass up the puppy eyes, here I was.

Louis pointed to the glue first. "Mix that into Audrey's hair shampoo. I got the extra sticky kind," he added in a whisper, as if it were a big secret.

"But.. I love Audrey's shampoo," I whined lightly, frowning.

"I'll buy you a new bottle," Louis pipped up with a little shrug, his eyes growing even more mischevious as he pointed to the salt before I could say any more. "Put a little bit of that on her toothbrush. Did it with Harry a few months ago, and it worked out pretty well." He looked pleased with himself, and I cocked an eyebrow.

"I'm honestly scared of what goes through your head," I muttered, earning a little chuckle from the boy.

"Wouldn't be the first time I heard that," he said under his breath, pointing his finger to the food coloring. "Put that in the soap dispenser. That will turn her hands a bright red that she won't be able to get out for a few days." His grin suddenly turned into a smirk.

I nodded my head slowly, uncrossing my arms. "Shampoo glue, salty toothbrush, and red soap. Gotcha."

Louis wrapped his arms around me in a bear hug, and I could feel him shaking slightly with the excitement of a two-year old. It was quite adorable, and I let out a little laugh. "Aw, Ari. I'm corrupting you."

Amused, I just shook my head as I pulled away. "Yeah, thanks for that," I muttered in a playfully sarcastic way as I stepped towards the bed and gathered the materials in my arms. "Louis," I started to say, glancing back at the Doncaster lad, "if you tell Audrey I did this, then I'm seriously going to strangle you."

Lou raised his hands to each side of his head and shot me a sheepish smile. "Yes, ma'am," he joked, saluting me before heading out the door.

Alison's POV

My pale blue eyes glanced from the group as I heard a skipping Louis walk into the room. A grin was settled on his face as he plopped himself down next to Audrey, who scooted over in discust. The way he looked, you would've thought he was the happiest man in the world. That couldn't be good. "Hello everyone. What are we talking about?" he asked, crossing his legs like a child and swept his eyes around.
