Chapter Thirteen

Alison's POV

It's been six months since our first concert in LA.

Six months and counting.

We were in Illinois right now; Chicago, to be exact. We arrived just last night and, at around four o'clock in the morning, we were sent to our hotel room. Guys in one hotel room, girls in the other. It was very big and expensive looking, and I loved it.

Currently, I was settled onto the long loveseat, my eyes glued to a Tigerbeat magazine. Louis had gone out and bought one for some strange reason and had told her to read through it. She couldn't help but see the smirk on his face when he gave it to her, and now she felt a bit curious. Turning a page, she looked through a few polls. Suddenly, she stopped at one.

'Who's the cutest couple?' was it's title. And Niall and I had won the vote, 78% to 22%. Well that's interesting. Kinda weird, since we aren't dating.

We have been getting close, though, since the tour had begin. Every week, I was partnered with him because the vocal coach loved our voices together in harmony. The fans loved it, too. But that's not the only thing the fans loved; they also loved to ship us. Nilison is what they called us, and the name has gotten more frequent over the months. Everytime we were together, no matter what, the paparazzi or a few fans would manage to snap a picture of it. I guess I should be used to it by now, but it's kinda hard to be. It's like we were being stalked..

Suddenly, my thoughts were broken when I felt the couch shift. I glanced over to see the blonde, Irish lad himself. I gave him a little smile. "Hey Ni."

"Hey Ali-cat," he stated, grinning as he scooted over closer and glanced at the magazine with curiousity gleaming in his bright blue eyes. "Whatcha looking at?"

I shrugged my shoulders lightly, turning my gaze back to the magazine infront of me. "Something Louis gave me this morning. He woke me up and forced me to read it."

Niall snorted lightly in amusement. "That sounds like something he'd do," he murmured, grabbing the magazine from my hands and glancing through the page. When he stopped on what I knew was the poll results, he raised his eyebrows in surprise. "I.. Wow. Huh. Interesting."

I nodded my head, feeling a bit awkward. His blue eyes flickered to me for a second. "That's.. strange, since we aren't dating."

Again, I nodded, letting out a little giggle. "The fans are hoping we will, I guess."

"So are the press; they've been hanging around us more often."

Letting out a breath, I leaned my head against Niall's shoulder. "I know!" she whined lightly, digging her face into the crook of his neck. I heard Niall's familiar chuckle and felt his left arm wrap around me.

"Poor you," he cooed teasingly.

I glanced up at him, my pale blue eyes settling on his for a moment. "It's pretty tragic," she playfully added, sticking my tounge out at him before hiding my eyes yet again in his neck.

I couldn't see the lad, but I knew that he had rolled his eyes in amusement as he let out a loud, contagious laugh. "I bet," he stated, lying his head on top of mine.

Isabelle's POV

I hummed a tune as I grabbed my iPhone and slipped it into my pocket. I felt a bit excited; I was in the walking mood and wanted to go explore the city. Though I had looked around for the girls, they were all sleeping. Well, except for Alison, but she had her nose stuck in a magazine and didn't look like she was going to leave her spot on the couch anytime soon.
