Jaime (Chapter 6)

-Jaime POV-

Blue Beetle: B22

" Hey Bart." I said as he ran past me. "Whats the rush essa?"

"Need to get I.V bags! Okay see you!" He replied really quickly as always. I grabbed his shirt before he can run off again.

"I.V bags? For who? Whos hurt?" I'm gone for 3 days and i've missed so much. 

"Oh. We'll 2 days ago, Robin and Batgirl rushed in with a girl, i heard. Apperently she was totally feeling the mode, so shes in one of the medical rooms! Go ask B.B or Robin, they'll explain it all. Gotta go see ya!" He zoomed off and 2 seconds ran pass me again carrying I.V bags. Okay... lets go find out whats going on.

I walked to where all the medical rooms where and saw Robin, Beast Boy, and Wonder Girl all standing in front of one of the bigger, more advance medical rooms. I walked over there, and was greeted by Beast Boy.

" Hey! You've miss quite alot those 3 days you were gone." He said to me staring into the room which was glazed over, so no one could see what was inside. 

" So i've heard. Whats going on?" I glanced at Robin and Wonder Girl. They were speaking quietly and looking at the monitors. 

Beast Boy explain to me that two days ago, Robin and Batgirl were going to Zeta-Tube back to Gothom from Jump City, when they saw a flash of light and heard screaming. They had rushed to that direction and they found a girl who was on fire. At first they thought someone had lit her on fire, but they soon realized no one had lit her on fire, but that she was the one who was producing the fire. They couldn't get close enough to her because she was producing so much heat and they would get burned badly. Eventally her fire died down, because she blacked out and they where able to Zeta back to the cave with her. They put her in the medical room, because she was obviously not okay. Every since then she has been in a coma. They can't get to close to her because she was still ablaze in the room, but as the days have gone by, its starting to go down. Which is a good sign, apparently. And was estimated that she would wake up in the next 48 hours. They are now able to go inside, and check on her, but just had to be extra cautious.

"Wow. So you guys no nothing about her?" I asked Robin.

"Yep nothing. I can finally get a picture of her face though since shes not producing much heat anymore. I'm gonna place her picture into the computer and see if we can find a match in the software. You guys wanna come into the room to see her? Maybe you've seen her around." Robin said as he punched in a code on the door and open the door. We all followed him inside.

" Um... where is everyone else?" I asked, just noticing i saw no one else here at the head quarters. 

"Miss Martin, Superboy, and Auqalad are out doing missions for Batman. Everyone else is either helping improving the headquarters or living life." replied Wonder Girl. " Oh and don't tell Miss M and Aqualad about this girl. She clearly has the power to make fire if she wants to, and I don't think they will like that very much..."

" Won't say a word to them." I said. 

"Good. Now lets find out who this mystery girl is shall we?" Said Impulse impatiently.

There was an other door we had to go through and Robin once again had to punch in a code. He open the door and it was just a sudden burst of hotness. It felt like a sauna in there. I can feel a sweat starting to happen and i wiped my forehead when i walked into the room. In the middle of the room was, as they said, was a girl who was slightly levitating off the bed. I can see she had long brown hair that started to get lighter as it when down. Her clothes didn't seem to be burned at all. She was casting a slightly orange aura, and tiny bit of flames danced across her body. I looked at her face and i gasped. Her eyes weren't open but she had a long scar that ran across her left eye. I can tell she was beautiful though. She had those sharp asian features. High cheekbones, slighly slanted eyes, and small but plump lips. She also looked so... familiar.

Robin took out his wrist computer and scanned her face. Wonder Girl and Beast Boy were looking at the computer screen, but i wasn't even paying attention to what was on the screen. This girl... i've seen her somewhere. If only i could see her eyes and i might recognized her. Where have i seen her? School? No. On a mission? Most likely not. I was so encanted by her, i didn't even see everyone walk towards the door. 

" Hermano! Come on! Its too hot in here to think." Impluse said, taking me out of my trance.

"Oh yeah... coming." I looked at her one more time and followed everyone out the door.

We all walked out of the medical center and walked in the main room where Robin attached his computer to the Mega Computer. The mystery girl's picture popped up onto the left side of the screen, and on the right side, dozen of pictures were flashing trying to find a match. It went on for what it seemed like forever. When finally a green box surronded a single picture, saying it found a match. And instantly my jaw dropped to the floor.

The girl... it was... Tiffany.
