-Tiffany POV-
We all helped pack the last of the boxes into the Bio Ship before we officially moved H.Qs. I ducked down into the Bio Ship and took my seat next Artemis.
"Where are is the new H.Q located again?" I asked strapping myself in. Artemis pulled up a map on the screen and pointed to a secluded area close to Mount Justice.
"There. We've been building it for months now. We didn't tell any of you guys just for the fun of it. It's way bigger and we all can get our own rooms now. Also it's underground."
I zoomed in on the spot, "So no balcony view?" She shook her head and smiled. "Sorry."
We flew over the mountain getting a birds eye view of the whole city. From above, it just looked like a blew up mountain, nothing interesting at all. I can see why they picked this area for the new H.Q. No one would think to look here really.
As we touched down onto the ground, all the people who live at the H.Q began to unpack, making our way through the wood. To get to the H.Q, we had to go through what looked like a regular oak tree, but was really an elevator that went all the way down to sea level.
When the doors of the elevators open, i nearly dropped all my things. The place was massive. It looked the Cave, same layout and everything, but i've never seen the Cave beside in pictures so this was a whole new thing to me.
"Boys room and showers to the left. Girls to the right." Said Artemis walking in, "Go pick your rooms and you're free to wander."
I entered the girl wing of the cave and was instantly amazed. The arched ceiling way casting long shadows with the little light that was there, the floor and ceiling completely cement and titaniam, to without a doubt, keep outsiders out. It smelled of moist dirt and black smoke as i walked further down the hall way.
I liked it. The room i chose was the last one down the hall. I opened to door to reveal a single bed, dresser, closet, and desk. It wasn't much at all, but with a few renovation here and there, it will suit my taste just fine.
"Well." I muttered to myself, "Lets get started shall we?"
After hours of unpacking and remodeling things in my new room, i decided to meet up with everyone in the main/training room. But of course being the newbie i am, I ended up getting lost. This was the perfect opportunity to explore my new home.
My adventure took me to the average looking kitchen and living room, and what looked like somewhere where you enter the H.Q from underwater. There wasn't anything interesting to me here. I sat on the floor and stared off into the water, wondering if anythings will emerge from the water, when i heard shuffliing feet behind me.
"How you liking the new H.Q?" It was Jaime of course. He stood next to me and patted my head. "Its so cool! I've only looked at some of the things here, but once i start looking around more, i'll find more intersting things." I said smiling. But once i smiled, my scar started to burn making me cringe in pain.
"Whoa, you okay?" Asked Jaime, pulling my up from the floor. "Yeah, its just my scar really hurts for some odd reason." He touched it softly, his fingers soothing the pain. "How did you get it anyway?" I tensed at his question and backed away slighly, covering my scar with my hand.
"Well.. umm... you see-"
"Tiffany." I turned around and saw Connor standing behind us. "You might want to come and see this."
We followed him to the main room, where a paused news report was on the screen. "Play."
"A $50,000 plus reward has been put up for the founding of the runaway teen orphan, Tiffany Mapanao. She ran away from her foster parents Lisa and Frank Mapanao in late May, leaving no trace on where her were about will be. She has recoreds of multiple runaways and has an extensive minor criminal record and has changed her identity multiple times." A picture of me popped up with the list of names i've been called for the last couple years.
