-Tiffany POV-
We arrived at his house around midnight, all the lights in the house off. He quietly opened the door, signaling me to follow him inside.
This night had been so perfect. I wanted to spend one last day with him, not thinking about what lies ahead in the future. Just to be with him once more before I leave. I was going to make this moment last as long as I can.
Being inside his house comforted me, making me feel like I actually had a home. Not a room underground. I followed him upstairs into his bedroom and sat down on the chair. He walked over to his desk and picked up a medium sized box delicately wrapped in a dark purple paper. It had a small letter attached to it.
I took the letter and places it next to me, saving it for later. I ripped opened the wrapping paper to expose a brand new, maroon penny board. The one I've been wanting forever.
"Holy... crap. What?" His eyes were looking at me then the board. "You like it? I spent the money I've been saving up on it."
"Jaime..." I picked it looking at the detailing on it. "I..."
"I remember you telling me about maroon penny boards with black wheels, so yesterday I saw one and I had to get it. I was walking down to street, close to-" I stood up and slammed my lips against his. "Jaime. Thank you." He nodded his lips still on mine.
He pulled away and twirled me around his room. I laid my head on his shoulder. "I knew you wanted it." He told me, his lips brushing my neck as he spoke.
"You didn't have to get it. I'm perfectly fine without presents and materialistic things."
"I know." I smiled and placed a sweet kiss on his cheek, making him flush over.
"Want to sleep over? Its past 12 already. Might as well stay the night." He whispered to me.
"What will your parents say?" I asked cautiously. "I'll ask them, don't worry!" He walked toward the door and was about to exit, when I grabbed his arm to bring him back.
"What if they get the wrong idea?" He chucked and gave me a kiss. "They won't." He exited the room and left me alone. I sat on the bed and touched my lips. I can feel the warmth of his kiss still lingering there.
I was going to miss those kisses.
-Jaime POV-
I tiptoed to my parents bedroom and opened the door. "Mom! Mom!" I whispered, walking to her bedside. "What mijo?" She asked, eyes closed. "Can Tiffany sleep over? I promise nothing stupid will happen." She opened her right eye slighly and sighed. "But where will she sleep?"
"My room. With me." She opened both eyes, looking surprised. "I-" My dad interrupted her before she can finished. "Let them sleep together. It will be okay, Bianca." My mom closed her eyes and sighed. "Okay, cariño. She can stay. You are good kids." I nodded excitedly and was about to walk out when my dad stopped me, by getting out of bed. "Jaime. If anything, make sure you use protect-"
"Dad! No! We aren't like that. Nothing will happen i promise!" He backed away, a little smirk on his face. "Okay! Okay! You guys are teenagers thats all. Buenas noches." I shook my head and closed the door, hearing my mom and dad snicker.
You should take your fathers advice, Jaime Reyes.
"Be quiet."
I entered my room to see Tiffany standing on her new penny board and drawing something on a piece of paper. "You having fun there?" She turned her head to face me, dropping her pencil. "Oh yeah! What they say?" I jumped on the board with her, nuzzling my face in her hair. "They said si. Seems like you're sleeping here, chica."
