-Tiffany POV-

After the boardwalk, we went back to the headquarters to see that everyone was asleep. We tiptoed upstairs and stood on top of the stairs. We can hear M'gann talking to Connor in the next room, occasionally hearing them laugh. It fill the silence nicely.

"They're dating again?" Jaime nodded in respose. "After Wally died, they got together. Something about life was too short? I don't know. Don't understand half of the things around here."

"Ha. Well good for them."

"Yeah, guess so essa."

"Thank you for taking me out on our 'first' date. Running into Brooke made it a thousand times better." He grinned and extend his arms, cracking his knuckles. "It was pretty fun huh?"

"Kicking her ass? Oh yeah. Totally." I said, winking at him, laughing.

"Well it's time for you-for us- to sleep. Training tomorrow for us."

I groaned and dragged myself to my room. "Don't remind me, love. Good night. Thank you again." I gave him a goodbye kiss on the cheek and went into my room.

I flopped onto my bed, not feeling a bit tired. It was only 1 in morning, where my nights were just started to begin. I had to do something but what?

I suddenly got an idea and sprang out of bed, pulling on my regular shirt. This was going to be a long night.

-Jaime POV-

I walked down the stairs at 9:00 am to see Tiffany on the Super Computer, multiple files and websites scatter across the screen.

"What you doing there herman-a..." She rubbed her eyes, clearly tired. She was surround by pages and pages of what looked like police records and other stuff I didn't understand. The printer was blinking which meant low ink.

It seemed the Firestorm has been researching. I assume this isn't the first time.

"Researching what? If you're going to say something, at least give me all the info!" I said frustrated. Tiffany look up.

"What?"

"Uhh nothing."

"What time is it?"

"9 in the morning." She groaned and laid her head on the desk. "You have got to be kidding me." She mumbled. "I've been trying to get a lead for finding about my past, but all I've been doing is coming to a dead end!" She yelled slamming her hands on the desk.

She got up and was about to storm off, but I grabbed her before she can go. "Hey, hey! Okay. Umm... maybe you should ask Robin or Batgirl! They are detectives..." She yanked her arm out of my hold.

"No Jaime! I can do it myself!"

"You've been up all night trying to figure it out! I bet this isn't the first time you've tried to find out about your past! You can not do it alone."

"Yes I can! I can do things on my own! I'm not a little girl!"

Her eyes were starting to fire up, her hair madly flickering with fire. The scar over her eye looking red and irritated. She was getting mad but I wasn't backing down.

"Tiffany! You can't. You need help. I know you don't want to get help because it's your past. But you need the help from Robin and Batgirl. Or anyone."

She was about to lash back, but hesitated. Instead she sigh and sat on the couch, her face in her hands. "Ughhh. I know, I know. I need the help. I'm sorry." I sat next to her and placed my hand on her knee to calm her down. "It's okay, essa. I'll get Robin now. While I do that, take a shower."
