Finding Myself (Chapter 18)

-Tiffany POV-

"Ready?" asked Miss Martin as we boarded the Bio Ship. "As ready as I'll ever be." I replied as I strapped myself in. "Do you always say that essa?" asked Jaime leaning over the seat to look at me. I smirked and rolled my eyes. "Do you always say that ESSA?" I said mocking him.

Miss.M sighed and put the Bio Ship in motion."Well then. Lets go."

We arrived about 2 miles from the site where the egg should be, just so that no one can see the Bio Ship.

Everyone online? We both nodded.

Okay. It's simple. Just receive the last egg. You guys got the others without any trouble. There should not be any problems with this one.

Don't jinx it. I said. She just grinned at me.

See you guys soon. Tell me when I need to get you guys or if you need help.

We flew down from the ship in our uniform and flew over the military site where they were protecting the egg. After we had told them that is was a alien possibly living in there, the amp up the guards.

We were greeted by the main officer, named Daniel. "Ah. You must be the... supers, who will come and take the rock to a more secure facility if I'm correct?" I raised my brow a bit when he called us supers like it was a bad thing.

I stepped up one step and kept a serious face, "Yes. You are correct sir. Can you please lead us to the egg? The sooner we get it the better, sir." He nodded and started to walk, "Yes. We will proceed."

He took us into a big square area where there seemed to be no security what so ever. In the middle of the closed off square area was the egg. But the egg was twice the size we have expected it to be. To big for us to move by hand with out disturbing it. The egg looked like it was breathing, the shell slowly moving up and down.

"I was not expecting this." mumbled Jaime as he stepped up to the egg. He began to scan the egg while I told Miss. Martian about the egg.

Miss. M. The egg has grown larger than we have expected it. Also it appears to be... breathing? We need to to come and levitate in into the ship.

I will inform Aqualad and will be there very shortly.

Understood.

Blue was just about done scanning the egg and was looking at the results. "There is something defiantly living in there. It's too unstable for us to move. It's simply too large for us to move by hand. I'm guessing Miss. M is coming to get it " I nodded yes to his question, looking at the egg.

Officer Daniel was looking at us with stern eyes, mouth in a deep frown. "What is taking so long? We need to move camp also you know? This thing can hatch at any moment also!" I thought British people were suppose to be nice... "I know,sir. It just the egg is too unstable for us to move by hand. We are having some one levitate it out of the site."

Just as I said that, Miss.M appeared with the Bio Ship hovering above the egg. She opened up a small opening for the egg at the bottom of the ship.

She began to concentrate on the egg as it slowly began to lift off the floor and into the ship. We watched it go up into the air almost half way through the hole.

It was more than half way into the ship when a big gust of wind made the ship move to the left, making M'gann go off balance and hitting the egg on the side of the ship and making it drop to the floor.

We watched horrified as the egg slowly began to crack as it glowed green. The shell slowly started to pull away revealing a wrinkling looking creature about 5 feet long emerge from the egg. It crawled out its shell and let out a glass shattering shriek.
