This is the part when Kayden is questioned by my parents

On the spot, eyes were on us as we kissed. Everyone was staring and Jayden begun a chorus of applause. It reminded me of The Fault in our Stars when Hazel and Augustus kissed in the Anne Frank museum and were rewarded with applause. Yet, I'm not Hazel , I'm just me and Kayden is himself. The kiss lasted ten seconds, ten seconds of affection and pleasure. Jayden had set The Breakfast Club soundtrack to begin playing at the start of New Years. Jayden had done this by just standing next to the record player and pressing play as his alarm went off. He also yelled:
"Another lonely gay New Years for me!" He then pulled a Christmas cracker and insisted that we should pull our own that he had given us. Kayden and I pulled for each other and then the hugging began. I had Violet and Winona come and hug me not only for New Years but because of the revealed relationship between Kayden and I.
"How long has this been going on for"? Winona asked.
"About twenty minutes". I said in a neutral voice, bringing my arms around Winona as we wished each other.
"We're so happy for you, Kori!" Violet said, we pulled into an embrace as soon as Winona and I were done.
Don't You (Forget About Me) by Simple Minds had begun the New Years. I grabbed Winona's arm and began dancing in front of her, signaling  for her to dance with me. We begun singing along to the words we knew and laughing as we attempted to dance. Kayden then bought me some Diet Coke and I thanked him for it.
"I just figured you wanted some, you're always asking for a glass when you come over".
I felt overjoyed at that moment, I was staring into someone's eyes who I could see would treat me well, who would love and cherish me for the time we stayed together. I knew Kayden and I will never get married or anything, he's my first love and that's who he is going to be.
My special first love.
I kissed him on the cheek and thanked him. He joined Winona, Violet and I in our dance circle and he even twirled me around a little.
"I bet Winona would love a spin". I yelled to Kayden over the loud music .
"I would love one". Winona said in her normal, lacked emotion voice.
Kayden stood next to Winona and danced with her for the rest of the song. When the song finished, Kayden went to the bathroom, telling me that he was going to leave soon. Lots of the kids were leaving, Chris had already been kicked out because he had bought a bottle of tequila and drunk it at the hour of eleven. We could all see he was drunk , despite the fact that the party was supposed to be alcohol-free.
"C'mon, Rachel", he slurred, "it's New Years, people get drunk on New Years!"
"Yeah, people over the age of 18". Violet said, making this sound like the most lame party of all time, even though it wasn't.
"I said no alcohol!" Rachel yelled at him, "if you're in my house, you follow my rules!"
We then kicked him to the curb, Bobby following along. Thank god Chris wasn't here when Kayden and I displayed our kiss, he would've gone up to Kayden and begin to tell him about the biggest shit of how to be a good boyfriend to his little sister. The worse part is that Chris would've got that advice off the internet as he has never had a girlfriend because he's too weird and stupid to.
I'd later ask Kayden to walk me home, he stayed ten extra minutes so I could listen to two more songs. We walked home with each other's gloved hands held together and our mouths moving constantly. There was so much to talk about as we walked. Eventually, a babbling me asked about Celeste.
"What about her"? He asked.
I had completely forgotten that he knew nothing compared to what my friends and I knew about our advanced English teacher. I had wished that I could've taken those words right out of the air, grab them and force them back my throat and act like nothing happened.
"What about her"? Kayden repeated.
I hadn't realized I had been so quiet for so long that Kayden had to repeat his question. I'm surprised I was quiet for a moment. If you haven't noticed, I never shut up.
"Do you find her strange"? I muttered, regretting this conversation altogether.
"Yes, she's a complete nutcase but she does her job well". Kayden said, laughing when he mentioned his teacher's insanity, thinking he was only joking.
"She does, she does do her job well". I repeated.
Kayden looked at me, his scarf basically covered his face so he wouldn't freeze to death.
"Is there something that you don't like about her"? He asked.
I nodded in tiny movements, my head too freezing to move.
"What don't you like about her"?
If only you knew, if only you knew, I thought to myself.
What if he could know? What if he became aware what he was getting into every time he walked into that classroom? What if it led him to the brig of insanity to know that he was dealing with a sample of insanity when he's supposed to be learning English?
Would he become paranoid and obsessed ...like me?
I had to tell him, I didn't want to start this relationship off not telling him what was pulling me down like an anchor.I had bought myself into this, I had to tell him. As we were almost at my house, we sat down at the corner of curb where no one could see us. I sighed before I explained things. I told him about the first tea, when Celeste changed into what I would call an 'Alaska Young Mood' from a normal, happy woman with a loving husband and a gorgeous child. I told him that when she got really upset or agitated, she lit a cigarette so violently that she would shake until the killing machine started pouring death down her throat. I told him about the painting, that beautiful canvas that tore because anger won over creativity. I told him about the Silver Lining Playbook situation, which led me to say what I had biting onto my tongue so I wouldn't tell anyone. I undid the straight jacket around my tongue and came clean.
"Mrs. Waldorf has bipolar disorder".
I knew for a fact that if I would have told him my conclusion before everything else, he would've raised his eyebrows and then pity her and say something like 'oh well, life happens!'. But he didn't do that, because he had learnt what she was capable of. Before he could react or say anything, I quickly added in a fact.
"She's been such a rat and grump because she's been taking her medication".
He just stared at me with disbelief.
"I doubt the school knows".
"They'd probably sue her for insanity and send her to a permanent loony bin if they heard what she's done to me".
Kayden sighed.
"I don't think that's how it works".
"Whatever, there would probably be legal consequences ".
He sighed. "It explains a lot ".
"It's depressing to know".
"I know".
"Do you think she'll be okay"?
"I have no ideas".
The wind passed us, taking gravity from my hair and letting it blow. I regretted bringing it up, I wish I could've thought of something to talk about. Something that wouldn't worsen my stress.
"Will your parents be up"? Kayden asked me.
"My dad will be, so will my mom. I just don't think she'll be sober".
