Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls all across the globe, there have been many times in my life where I, Uzumaki Naruto, have ended up being disappointed. For example, in grade school when I was but a small little five year old brat, I was let down when the new kid Choji said he would bring me cupcakes for my birthday but ended up eating them all. Or when I first met Sakura and I thought we could be friends because her hair was the best thing ever and it turned out she hates fabulous loud blonds. Or when I first learned Sasuke was one hundred percent straight. The list goes on, from when I first found out I had an annoying fan club to when Sai came along and apparently became president of said fan club.
However, the worst let down I've ever had so far happened just three minutes ago, when Sasuke Uchiha judged my essay and gave me a thumbs up. "Well, I guess I have to kiss you now, huh?" The annoyingly handsome brat said. He freaking kissed me alright, and I've never been so disappointed in my life.
"Cheer up, Naruto." Iruka said, smiling and patting my back while Sasuke had the nerve to be dying of laughter on the couch across from me. Even Iruka laughed, at least, on the inside. I know he was. "At least you got a kiss?"
"That's not what I meant!" I shouted, burying my face on the pillow. "I wanted a real kiss! An actual physical kiss!"
"What are you talking about? That is an actual physical kiss." Sasuke chuckled, "it was my last one, too."
I threw the stupid piece of candy at him. Yeah, you heard right. Piece. of. CANDY. THE YUMMY STUPID PIECE OF CANDY CALLED KISSES MADE SPECIFICALLY TO RUIN THE DREAMS OF GOOD BOYS LIKE ME.
"I'm going back to my room." I declared. "You can leave now, you're not wanted here." I pouted towards Sasuke as he laughed some more. Honestly.

"Naruto, wake up." Now what? "We're going to be late and Kakashi's going to throw a fit if you don't show up after school today."
"I don't care." I mumbled against the pillows, trying to enjoy my sleep.
"Naruto!"
"Go away you dream ruiner. Leave me and my soul to sleep in peace and happiness since everyone is out against me." I jumped quickly as Sasuke had ripped the bed sheets off of me. "Sasuke, no!" I groaned.
"School." He smiled, throwing the sheets all the way across the room and on his way back, grabbing my school uniform. "Now hurry up, Iruka said he'll drive us if you hurry."
"You go, then. I'll walk." Sasuke gave me a flat look. "Fine, I'll get up!" I huffed, throwing my feet over the edge of the bed and grabbing the uniform. In five minutes, I managed to get dressed and brush my teeth, meeting Iruka and Sasuke downstairs.
Iruka dropped us off at the gates of the school, walking along with us as he claimed to be paying Kakashi a visit.
Being me, of course I was going to follow him and watch, but apparently, such plans were thrown down the drain when Sasuke pulled on my collar and made me walk with him towards his locker.
"Leave them alone." He said, letting go of my collar as he opened his locker.
"Mind you, Sasuke, I wasn't going to go spy on them. I was going to the library to return a book." I pouted and crossed my arms, dreading the sound of the busy hallways.
"May I remind you, then, that the library is over this way." Sasuke pointed. I ignored him and kept my eyes closed, leaning against my locker and somehow feeling the covers of sleep taking over me again. Next thing I knew, Sasuke pinched me. "Your crew is here to pick you up." He said.
Looking over to my left, I watched as Kiba and Sai raced through the crowd to get over to where I was. "Sasuke, hide me!" I shouted, looking over towards him and frowning when he was already entangled in Sakura's hug. "Oh, if it isn't Sakura." I rolled my eyes.
"Naruto." She smiled back at Sasuke and kissed him. Oh, it's on now.
"Foxy!" Sai jumped on my back, making me stumble as he put all his body weight on me. "Oh, Sakura. Sasuke."
"Hey Sai." Sasuke greeted. "Naruto, look a bit more happy, your friends are here." He smiled, clearly enjoying the suffering I was going to be in once the entire group unites.
"Sasuke, let's go to class?" Sakura asked, smiling as Sasuke took her hand in his and nodded. She threw a winning smile at me as they left. That bitch. Oops, I'm sorry. Not really.
"So, foxy, have you any plans today?" Sai asked, using his hand to push Kiba away.
"He has plans with me, Sai, his best friend!" Kiba shouted. Sai ignored him and proceeded to hug his arms round me.
"Hey, the boys wanted to hang out today, how about it?" He asked. As soon as he said 'the boys', the very beings themselves appeared out of nowhere.
"Yeah, Naruto, it's been a while since we've hung out." One said.
"We can pay for you if you come!" Another said, gathering nodding heads from others.
"Come on, Naruto, just for a little bit?" Sai asked, proceeding to walk me to class as some boys walked ahead and annoyingly pushed people aside.
"No, Sai. I have to stay after school, then go with Kiba." I groaned, ignoring the boys behind me as some joked around and talked amongst themselves. Finally, outside the classroom, the boys split up, each of them waving bye to me as they left Sai and I leaning against the door. Poor Kiba left a while ago, sending me a text.
Inside the classroom sat Sasuke, Sakura sitting on his lap and both engrossed in conversing and smiling. Bothered, I ignored Sai and walked in.
"Hey, Sakura, class is about to start, shouldn't you be going to your class now?" I asked, making a frown appear on the girl's face.
"I don't know, Naruto. I'll leave when the bell rings." She rolled her eyes and turned back to Sasuke.
"Guys, please don't fight." Sasuke said, smiling nervously as I tugged on a piece of her hair.
"Watch it!" She shrieked, slapping my hand away. I stuck my tongue out at her and Sai laughed as he walked closer towards us. "Ugh, I can't stand you!" She got off of Sasuke's lap to face me.
"Ooh, like I care." I mocked. "Sasuke, your girlfriend is being mean to me. Shouldn't you do something about that? I am your best friend, after all." I crossed my arms, watching the few students in the classroom looking over at us.
"Listen, Naruto. Back off, he's my boyfriend. He's not going to take sides because clearly, he's on mine!" She frowned once more. "Why don't you go find someone else to bother?" She turned around, grabbing Sasuke's hand and walking over to the door.
"Wow, everyday you somehow manage to get on her nerves." Sai leaned on my shoulder as we watched Sasuke and Sakura bicker silently. "Hey, I have an idea." I ignored him as my eyes wandered behind Sakura and Sasuke. Keeping my eyes on them, I scowled as Sakura's green eyes landed on mine and she smirked. She threw her hands around Sasuke's neck and kissed him, her eyes locked on mine as her lips turned into a smirk.
Furious, I turned away, ignoring the way Sasuke kissed her back and smiled as they departed.
"...what do you think?" Sai finished. I hadn't heard anything he said as I kept my gaze on the couple. Suddenly, as Sasuke and Sakura walked back in, for no reason whatsoever, I grabbed Sai and kissed him.
I don't know why I did it, but the shocked face on Sakura's face was worth it. Pulling away, I finally realized my grand mistake. "Sai, no, I didn't mean to-"
"Well," he said, touching his lips, "I guess that could work out as well."
What have I done?!
