"Kiba, please!"
"No. Be gone, you traitor." Kiba pushed me away, about to close the door when I sacrificed my poor foot to keep the door from closing.
"Kiba, I need you! Baby, I love you!" I cried, ignoring Sasuke's weird looks as I tried whatever I could to get Kiba to join us. "Come on, Kiba, if you want to blame someone for making me ditch you, blame him!" I pointed at Sasuke.
"It's true, he had to stay after and finish his stupid exam otherwise he'd fail." Sasuke sighed, explaining the rest of it.
"I'm still not going." Kiba grumbled, giving up on putting a resistance and opening the door to let us in.
Following him to his room, Sasuke and I entered all the while begging for him to join us.
"Why do you want me to go?" He asked, "I thought you'd like sleeping over with him alone."
"Oh, trust me Kiba, you know I do." I glanced over at Sasuke and winked, making him roll his eyes and scoffing softly to the side. "But you see, since I missed one stupid question, he said I could still have a sleepover but I have to invite one other person."
"And that person just has to be me?" Kiba asked, sitting on his bean bag chair while Sasuke sat on the bed.
"Duh. Who better than my best friend in the entire world?"
"I thought I was your best friend," Sasuke raised an eyebrow.
"Don't be selfish, Sasuke. You can't be my boyfriend and best friend. I mean, you can, but let Kiba hold the title." I said and he only rolled his eyes.
"Anyways, I told him it'd be only us if he got all questions correct. He has to earn being alone with me." Sasuke laughed, rolling to the left side of the bed as I prepared to jump on top of him. Kiba sighed, scratching his head and rolling his eyes at the sight of his bed being once again, messy.
"Fine, I'll go. Just please stop destroying my room." He whined.
"But you always have your room messy, why's it so clean?" I asked, punching Sasuke on his shoulder and wincing when he punched back.
"Because he finally cleaned it after all these weeks." Kiba's mom passed by, two small dogs following her outside. Kiba sighed but nodded.
"I'll get ready." He said, getting up to go to the bathroom. I jumped up and down on the bed, smiling over at Sasuke who only rolled his eyes in annoyance.
"Keep in mind I also get to invite someone over." He reminded me, ending my little moment of joy. Great, more people. "Have you called Iruka? You have to ask him for permission, remember?"
"What is he, my dad?" I asked, pouting as he reminded me.
"Naruto." He warned, taking out his cell phone to call Iruka. "Here, ask."
I sighed, snatching the phone out of his hands and putting it against my ear. "Oh oh, voice mail. guess I can't call him no more." I shrugged, throwing the phone back to Sasuke. He glared at me, throwing the phone back at me and making me dial Iruka again.
"You know, you only make yourself look sexy when you glare." I said, making Sasuke loose the glare and shake his head in shame towards me.
"What did you say?"
"Oh snap, hey Iruka! How's it going? How's work? Kakashi there? Did he tell you how I passed my exam? Sasuke bet I wouldn't pass but I did. Did you know-"
"Naruto, there better be a good reason you're calling. I'm in the middle of a meeting." Iruka sounded tired.
"Fine, Sasuke's making me ask you permission to sleepover at his house, can I go?" I threw a look at Sasuke, sticking my tongue out at him.
"No."
"What?! Why?" Kiba stared at me weird as I made faces at the phone.
"Minato told me not to let you sleep over anybody's house. Why don't you just invite him over? I'm sure he can-"
"What's that? Iruka? Are you in a tunnel? Hello?"
"God damn it, Naruto. Don't you dare-"
"Iruka? Was that a yes? Hello? Iruk..." I stared at the phone, ending the call and smiling victoriously towards Sasuke. Kiba only snorted as he passed by to grab his shoes. "He said I can go."
Sasuke shook his head while holding in a laugh. I know, I'm hilarious. "Naruto, you know that didn't count."
"Of course it did." I grinned, following Kiba out of the house and into his car. "Besides, I'm sure my dad would agree."
---
"You what?!" Minato screeched into the phone, his hand coming up to grab his strands of hair as Iruka reported to him as usual.
"Minato, just this once." Iruka pleaded, wanting this call to be over as soon as possible.
"Iruka, I thought I told you to look after my son! What if that Uchiha kid does something to my little..." Minato stopped pacing back and forth, thinking of many scenarios Naruto would find himself helpless as the Uchiha... no, no. He wasn't going to think of that.
"Sir, if it makes you feel better, Kiba is going with them."
"Okay, okay. But make sure you pass by every hour to check on him." Minato ordered.
"Do you want me to get arrested for being spotted passing the same house every hour?" Iruka asked, smiling at his boss's ideas. "Sir, if it makes you feel better, Sasuke wouldn't touch Naruto, the boy has a girlfriend he is very devoted to."
Minato stayed silent for a while, "That doesn't mean anything. I know the Uchihas well." Iruka sighed on the other line. "Fine, have Ibiki listen in to what they're saying. I want reports every hour!" Without leaving Iruka to say anything else, Minato ended the call. "You are not winning my son, Uchiha."
---
While Kiba and I spoke up front, Sasuke stayed in the backseat texting someone. "Hey, Sasuke, when we get there, we're going to play truth or dare."
"What makes you think I'll play?" He asked, his eyes glued to the screen.
"Because I said so. Don't worry, I won't make you do anything too sexual."
Kiba snorted, "And here I thought you'd deny that was part of your plan." He turned a corner into Sasuke's neighborhood, parking behind the only car in the driveway.
"Of course I won't deny it." I said, getting out and racing to the door, eager to get inside. "I'm just letting him know there's a chance he could get lucky and finally kiss me." I made a kissy face as Sasuke walked up next to me with the keys.
"Yeah, right." He laughed, entering his home.
After debating and arguing on who was going to sleep on the bed, Sasuke gave up and headed down stairs to get the door, leaving Kiba and I to wrestle over the bed.
---
Sasuke opened the door and smiled, letting the people he invited in. He greeted them, one more enthusiastically than the other, but nonetheless smiled as he began leading them up to his room. He stopped to make sure he heard right.
"Oh, for fuck's sake, Kiba!"
"Shut up, you wanted this, didn't you? Now take it like a man!"
"Ow, fuck you man, that hurt! My poor butt! How am I going to enjoy having Sasuke feel me up if you're hurting me!"
Opening the door as quickly as the Uchiha could, he sighed in relief to find Kiba and Naruto breathing hard on the floor, Kiba laughing a bit as he got up and jumped on the bed. "Loser, I won!"
Naruto groaned, rubbing his behind in pain. "Sasuke, tell Kiba to say sorry, he dropped me!"
Sasuke sighed, moving aside to let his guests in.
"No." Naruto said in horror. "You're lying to me, Sasuke, you can betray me any other way, just not like this!"
"What are you talking about, idiot? The deal was I could also invite people over." Sasuke grinned, looking over at Naruto's crying face.
"Yeah, but not.. not them!"
